    Hi all
Sounds like the Christmas prep is going well for everyone!!!
I've not given my friend her Christmas folder yet, as she's moving house in 6 weeks, so we are spending the weekend sorting out some of her stuff and getting it back up (not an easy task with 2 'helpful' children around! lol)
Can't wait to see how rudolph day goes, just wish I was able to take part in it this month!!!
:j Bought all my presents for this year (birthday and Christmas) now starting on next years!!:j

Love the Junktown thing, thanks for that :) And welcome to the thread!

OOna Know how you feel about the list.. it seems to be growing every day LOL I have got a ton of junk in my trunk but unfortunately the trunks in bad condition LOL Ta for the heads up on the sale. On hotukdeals there is a 5% off code and don't forget (of course) Quidco (as if!)

Smilelols Everyone can take part in Rudolph day. It is just one selfish day where you can think about Christmas without feeling insane, take stock of what needs to be done and get a few things ticked off. Even if you're absolutely busy all day make room for a little hot chocolate ;)

    Hello all:j
Lovely day and been to a boot fair this morning - not a lot bought except plants but did pick up a Beatles book for oldest son and some scented candles in coconut bases that'll do for youngest son so they're due for the spare room with the rest of the stash.

Thanks for the jumbletown link..........super idea with curtain rings. I'm sure I've got some kicking around somewhere but whether I could paint them as neatly as that is another story...........:rotfl: Still, I can but try.

Hope you're having a good day. I've been out in the garden planting what I bought - just geraniums to do now and it's got a bit too hot for me -have to wait till the sun goes over a bit.

    Afternoon All

Thanks MEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL.... (LOL) sorry I couldn't resist. Been soooooo sooooo busy, not stopped all day, there is a very dim light flickering on and off at the end of my tunnel at the mo. Like I said the other day for every job I cross off my list I seem to add 2 or 3 more to it, it really is driving me up the wall. Thanks for asking about my ankle, seems to have got better now, musn't have sprained it after all, but it did really hurt the other day.

Ah Choccy Orange you have a stash of coffee I'm coming round LOL I'm going through too much at the moment OH was shaking his head in asda the other day when I put 4 jars in the trolly (they were on offer though at 2 for £5 so couldn't leave them there...)

Been doing a bit in the garden today, got the gazebo up, OH is painting the fence panels, the kids are running round playing, the dog is flaked out in the sun, just finised having some burgers and kebabs on the BBQ so gonna get a bit more washing out on the line.

Still got jobs to do inside but can't really be bothered with them when its sunny.

Anyway better get on, still got reviews to type and college work to do and the kids to run around after, thats on top of jobs inside the house.

    Sarah

PS Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and that the sun is shining near you.

GAWD this weather is killllling me!! Someone get rid of the sun and give me back my rain GRR!! LOL I have two very tired babies in bed and a husband snoring too LOL now I got to work on my Rudolph post. Here goes nothing..

Sarah, I hope that flickering light at the end of the tunnel is not a train.. SAAARRRAAAHHHH :p Nescafe is so freaking expensive. Lee has this foreign Nescafe from Home Bargains and he actually really likes it. It's only about 1.49 for a BIG jar. BBIIGGGGGGG. He is also a coffee monster.. I'm doomed!!

Mary I was going to ask for a list of your bargains but you already did it.. gosh you're great :D LOL I also tried to do some gardening but the diamantes on my shirt were burning me! Crazy sun.

Clayre Hiya and welcome to the thread! Today is the perfect day to join in because we have Rudolph day tomorrow and that is as good a place as any to start :) Just get yourself a nice notepad dedicated to Christmas and you're on your way!

Furrypig Don't worry about how often you post.. As long as you're here for Rudolph day then all is good LOL (Well.. if you have internet access that is haha!)

Mhagster I can see you ya little toad.. get posting!! What bank holiday bargains did you get :D

Went outside to sort out my geraniums and it's still a bit to much of a glare in the sun for me.
So, as my neighbour went off on holiday today I went and fed her cats. There's three altogether......one normally leaves home if neighboir isn't there but this time he''s stayed put........so has the other one......the third has done a runner !!(by now the others have devoured all the food !) Worse still, the one thats gone off is some kind of 'pedigree' and I was told 'very much an indoor cat' !!!!! Well 'indoor' today she ain't and was last seen disappearing into the long grass of other neighbours garden !! So, can see me back and forth all evening to see if she comes back................lol
And...........we've some very strange weeny spiders that seem to have 'bred' in a neat little cobweb around one of the wheelie bins.........not sure whether they're 'good' spiders that eat all the bad pests or whether they're 'bad spiders' who might be the actual pests.....so OH is about to get the hose out on the garden and may just accidently hose down the web...............:rotfl:
Tomorrow is 'christmas day' thingy isn't it ? Oh eck..........don't know what I'll do.........wont be anything major as I haven't got the stuff -does covering yet another shoe box in fabric count ?.............lol Oh and I might cover couple of notebooks with fabric as well.........yeah..........I'll have a 'fabric for christmas' kind of day.............lol:p
Hope I've found the wretched cat by then.................

MEL:had left computer on whilst out......getting tesco bargains. Kids all out so me and OH took dog for a walk and called in at tesco.....here goes:
8 loafs of bread 6p each, now in freezer, 2 packs of croissants 20p each, 1 in freezer. 4 different kinds of veg, 5p each, nice big bunch of flowers £1.30, doughnuts 13p, pain au chocolat 18p, and the piece de resistance.........peppa pig cake for 50p....woowoo. And I did remember to get cat food and cat litter which is what I popped in for!

weather here has been pants today. We went on a picnic today for lunch, we were freezing. All these folk were sitting stoically eating their sandwiches while the wind blew.

i have been crafting this weekend. Made some tags for christmas and made a 'scrapbook' type page for dd1 bedroom door with a photo of her as a baby. have done some 6x6 pages as well from my b'day photo's and SIL's wedding in Feb!

I got more ribbon today, went in for a hole punch, which I got but it's larger than I hoped.....and they had some lovely ribbon, so made a purchase!.I bought some stuff in poundland yesterday, they have lovely sets for £1(funnily enough) with 12x 12 papers, stickers, chipboard embellishments etc. so got 2 of them and some 'diamonds' for sticking......also got gel stickers for dd2's window, but one piece was damaged.....got it for 75p!!

Need to do a bit more ironing and remake our bed before I can get in it tonight....I am at work tomorrow but OH and kids are off.
    Enjoy your bank Holiday Monday
