just curious, does anyone bake anything or cook anything that can be put into jars that are decorated nicely. i was thinking cookies but i dont know if they will last that long and i have to post one or two of my presents.

PLM - I bought youngest son a star wars model making kit - you know the plaster of paris sort when you can paint the figures afterwards - that was reduced - I think it was about 6 quid, then I bought him a star wars comic making kit, and I bought my oldest son a ben 10 comic maker kit. If anyone wants any links give me a shout. I spotted the offer on the lego on hotuk deals, I think the code expires at the endish of may.

This is such a friendly thread.

I really need to get even more organised than I originally believed as I was going out this afternoon but made myself late by doing my earlier post and then had to write a birthday card whilst trying to change my clothes, then rushed all over the place trying to find the present. This will not do!

So it might be an idea to write the card well in advance. How many of you write inside cards weeks or months before you need to?

Although I've got lots of boxes round the house with loose change, I will buy a sealed one in the week just for £2 coins and join in the challenge.

Upcoming occasions - 4 birthdays in June
*currently making Xstitch card for no.1
*have choccie and card for No.2
*card for no. 3 - no present required - need to find exact date as forgotten it
*card - no 4 - thinking about present maybe a garden mag subscription as Mum really liked the freebie issue I sent for her (English Beautiful Gardens)

My main challenge this year is de-clutter and tidy up as always losing things and back-burner to-do lists from years back.
