I've been keeping this post for today
Got a bargain from our local market & have a lovely leg of lamb in the freezer for crimbo dinner & a box of half price choccitts as per recent supermarket wars :T
Just had a fleeting thought about writing the cards out now, qckly followed by "if-you-do-you-know-you'll-forget-where-you-put-them"
I'm going to make a list of possible ideas--got two major b'day players yet to come so will help for those too.
Happy :rudolf:Day!

Just wondering would anybody object if I set the Rudolph Challenge for next month.
We all contribute thoughout the month and its great to hear how everyone is getting on, what we've all been upto, how the crafting is going, and is my case how many times have I been on Halfcost and all the bargains I have found.
I love Christmas, as I think its for big kids as well as little kids and hopefully (fingers, toes and everything crossed), we should have a new arrival - no I'm not going to mum 2 two...... looking into haveing another Spaniel, and as the last 2 years we have been to the pub for Christmas lunch as it would be the dogs 1st xmas with us (looking at getting a rescue dog), we're going to stay at home and make him or her the centre of attention...
Thou dont know whether they would want to sit at the table, one xmas before I had dd, Whisky had his own Christmas dinner, we'd put it on a plate, on the floor in the dining room, he turned his nose up, put it on the table, with a view to bringing it into the front room, Whisky decided that was a better idea and pawed the spare chair,- he sat at the table even wore a xmas hat.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
mum2one: I'm sure that would be fine for setting challenge number 7 for next Rudolph Day.
I wish Mel and her family well (wee poem there!!) and hope she will pop in every now and again.
1st night in doing nothing .....well apart from catching up on housework and ironing...!
Got large boxes of jelly babies in tesco this morning for 95p reduced from £3.00+ .dates were fine so have put away for kids Christmas.
Bought a few wee stocking fillers for dd2 today as well.
Enjoy your evening x0 -

Hi all,
I was so looking forward to today but circumstances have meant I was ultra busy with chores and things and not sure if I can fit in ay literal Christmas projects until much later if at all today. So far I just wrote a special occasions card that I'd put off all week and I printed off the OC Rudolph day notes.
Mum2One - looking forward to your next challenge in July. In the meantime, I'll try out your carrot recipe.0 -
Well ladies Woolworth online is up and running, seems very weird seeing pick and mix on line.
Just flicked through, - under £5.00 spend think the p+p £1.50, over £5.00 and unlimited orders £3.95 (or sumthing like that).
Not sure how the prices compare against other retailers
