I don't how or why, but I completely forgot that it is father's day today and I didn't even send a card. I heard people talking about it, I just completely forgot that I HAVE a dad. :-) How useless am I? I feel like a right pillock!!!

    Hello again,

Aurora, I also forgot an important occasion this year, my Dad's birthday.

I love 'The English Garden' magazine too! The photos are fantastic. Did you get the free magazine? They send you a link to the previous month's online version and it's out of this world as the photos come up huge and a better quality than in print.

I don't do any surveys so can't help with that.

Hi Sarah, what sort of volcano was that you made? Like Tracey Island do you mean?

Just made a paper Mache one with him, he's only 5, its pretty small really but he's doing about Dinosuars and volcano's in school and wanted to make one to take to school.

Have made tracy Island before with DS1 but that was years ago, but he did play with it for months, all the expensive toys we buy and they love playing with things that cost nothing.

Hmmm...Thank you Sarah, I just cannot believe I knew it was father's day (people mentioned it this week often enough) it just never clicked with me - I don't know... I am probably the wicked daughter now... :-) I am hanging my head in shame.

Anglea - thank you. I don't know what it is, I mean, I have the 'little black' book on top of my regular notebook, the calendar on my desk, calendars all over the place in fact cause life is so busy, I need reminders!!! :-) :rotfl: And I still forgot. Oh well, nevermind, I certainly won't forget the next time. :-) Hopefully. :rotfl:
Yeah, I got the freebie from the magic freebies website, it's so beautiful, I know what you mean about the photos - GORGEOUS!!! :-):j

Have a lovely week everyone. xxx

Lol, jamtart, I think you're right! I've always got the something Christmassy at the back of my mind.

Sarah, you talking of dinosaurs reminds me that I've lost count of the amount of times I've switched over the channels in the last few weeks and seen it's Jurassic Park or Lost World, or JP 2 and the other night I was nearly spitting feathers when I found JP 3 was on!

I wish there was an overall programme controller for all the channels as I'm fed up with the same film on every channel - nearly every night! It's the same with 'About a boy', I feel like I know the script backwards.

    Hi again,

I wish I hadn't just taken the tv mag to mark up my programmes for the week as I spotted JP 3 and 'About a boy' are on again. This is ridiculous!!! I'm going to have to complain.

I was wondering if any of you have made sundried tomatoes and put them into jars for yourselves or as gifts? How long can you keep them?.

    Hi all,

just a quick question please. With onepoll - how do your receive your reward? I found this: Direct payment into your bank account each time you reach £40 and I think that then I have to supply them with my bank account number which I don't want to do. Is this the only way they pay? Don't they do vouchers like e.g. vo? Or just a cheque? I would love to sign up as every penny helps now but I really don't want to give anyone my bank account number.
Thank you for your help. xxx

    Hi Aurora
I dont know if they still do cheques, but I have mine paid into my paypal account, and takes about a week to get there, the direct payment would be via bacs.
When your account hits £40 (does take a while), you decide from there how u get paid.

I know paypal if u withdraw below £50 its 25p or 40p charge, but that few pence for not giving out ur details worth it.xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
