Yesterday when I looked at it I could see some new parts but just now when I took a look, it appears like they are working on it, hopefully it will be bigger and better when it's finished.0 -

ooooh get me! posting at this time of night. Just in from a lovely meal and good company.But was on a curfew enforced by my mother...can you imagine aged 40 'be in for 10pm please'..............managed to stay out till 10.35pm......what a rebel!
Am stuffed full of lasagne and garlic bread (and chips) and then went back to friends for pud......huge portion of cheesecake! yumyum!
hopefully little lie in the morning and then dd2 swimming lesson (last one hurrah) and then home to Oh who has been away in hot places all week working! he will certainly cool down here, it is freezing! Will not put heating on though! When we went back to my friends for huge pudding she put her fire on.......blissful.
Rudolph day on Thursday,how quickly has that came around. you just feel it will be december before we know it and we will be all ready!!

DD got some in her cookery book, just gone through couple books all the recipies seem to have a maximum of week shelf life, and some are frides only,

chocolate truffles - makes about 10
100g / 4oz milk choc drops
25g / 1 oz butter
25g / 1 oz icing sugar
50g / 2oz plain cake crumbled into small pieces
4 tablespoons chocolate sugar strands
small paper cases
need to be eaten with in 5days
1. Pour about 1in water in a pan, heat to bubbling, take off heat.
2. put heatproof bowl onto of saucepan, put choc drops and butter in - put back on heat
3.stir with wooden spoon, till melted - remove bowl
4. sift the icing sugar into the chocolate, add cake crumbs, stir well, leave to cool
5.put the choc strands on plate,
6. get teaspoon sized portion of choc mix, roll in strands, pop into case
7. pop in fridge 30 mins to cool - airtight conatiner in fridge

Creamy fondants
250g / 9oz icing sugar
half the white small egg (2 1/2 teaspoons)
1 teaspoon vanilla flavouring
4 teaspoons single cream
red and green food dye
1. Sift the icing sugar into a large bowl - make a hole in the middle with a spoon.
2.mix egg white, single cream and vanilla in seperate bowl, then add to sugar
3. use a blunt knife - stir the mixture - until smooth cut in half
4.seperate bowls, 1 add few drops red, other few drops of green
5. if sticky add a bit of icing sugar
6. sprinkle icing sugar onto clean board / surface, roll out to thickness litle finger, use little cutters to cut
7. same with other flavour
8. put on baking sheet - leave fridge for an hr
9. store in fridge - eat within a week

magic marshmallow fudge
450g / 1lb icing sugar
100g / 4oz white marshmallows
100g / 4oz unsalted butter
half teaspoon vanilla essence
shallow 7in square cake tin - greasproof paper
1. place the tin onto of greasproof paper, cut the shape out
2.wipe some oil onto the bottom + sides of the tin
3. sift icing sugar in bowl, make space in middle
4. get saucepan - using scissors cut the marshmallows in half, add milk, butter and vinalla essence
5.gently heat the mixture, stir ocassionally with wooden spoon
6. pour mixture into sugar, beat together with a spoon until smooth
7.put the fudge into the tin, level off with spoon
8. when cool put in fridge for 3 hrs
9. with blunt knife, turn the fudge onto chopping board, renove paper
10. cut into apr36 pieces return to fridge for hr to firm up
11. keep in airtight container - needs to be eat within a weekxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
chocolate crunchies
75g / 3 oz rich tea biscuits
50g / 2ox dried apricots
225g / 8oz white choc drops
4 tablespoons golden syrup
1 teaspoon drinking chocolate
small paper cases
1. break the biscuits into tiny pieces, cut apricots small, add to biscuits,
2. melt the chocolate - leabe to cool slightly
3. add golden syrup, biscuits + apricots to choc mix well
4. shape into small balls, put in cases
5. put the sweets in fridge for an hour
6. then sprinkle the choc powder throu a sieve over the chocs
