Not getting much done here, the weather is miserable, managed to get rid of all the rubbish at the tip and been to pets at home to get free bag of puppy food. Gotta wait for DS1 to get home from Drama now then will be going shopping to see if I can get any bargins and then home to finish sprucing up for a nice peaceful day tomorrow for fathers day. Maybe do a few crafts with the kids for daddy, although he has got loads of the kids that I've been picking up over the last few months.

I love Greece too aurora and all things Greek! Am still at the planning stage for the soaps, bath bombs and Lip Balms but will let you know how it goes.

Watched the series "Grow your own Drugs" and then bought the book which had been the inspiration. Have been buying bits and pieces to make a start since before the hols and have promised my two grand daughters aged 8 and 10 they can "help". Oldest one told her Mum's friend she was going to Granny's to make bath bombs from drugs:rotfl:they would get you hung especially as the friend is a police officer!! Luckily she knows us well![/QUOTE]

I see... :-) I watched the series, too. A bit basic but very simple, haven't got the book but there is lot of stuff like that online (BBC also) anyway, just need the time really (as always :-) ). The more I read what's in our food, toiletries, clothes and everywhere you look basically, the more I think the less chemicals the better so it would be wonderful to make own toiletries and especially cleaning products. I am a cleaning freak!!! :-) Ooops, the secret's out!!! :-) :rotfl:

It's been raining all day today!!! That's not what the weather forecast said!!! Anyhoo, hoping for a nice day tomorrow to get the washing done and the gardening, too. We have one small tom in the greenhouse!!! :-) :j

Decided to try one poll and see what's what. Home of research is very quiet which is very unusual so don't know...

Confession time :rotfl: I only have 2 presents!!!! Or shall I say - I already have 2 presents. :-) :rotfl:

Anyone doing the orange phone fund? I have some money in it now (through buying top up) and would like to use it to get a new phone (as I need one desperado :-) ) but the orange online only seems to sell top up phones with £20 credit and the sim. Well, I just want the phone. Does anyone know what's what with this?

Have a lovely afternoon everyone. xxx

    Hi all,

Lots of posts to catch up on later.

I think I need therapy lol with my folder indecisions as I had to leave 2 shops yesterday because they had racks of folders and notebooks and I knew I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation.

To mollify the inner addict, I bought a copy of the Country Kitchen mag. Anyone else like it?

After printing off the Houseworks plan and reading the house organising side of things, I've realised that it's going to be quite difficult with the amount of 'back burner' chores and repairs (plus personal issues that always create problems e.g. agreeing to do things I don't want to).

So I've decided to give myself a Summer Challenge to go through my list in time for Aug 31st. Even if I only do a couple of things, it will be better than nothing.

Hope you all have a good Sunday.

    Hi all,

just a quick question please. With onepoll - how do your receive your reward? I found this: Direct payment into your bank account each time you reach £40 and I think that then I have to supply them with my bank account number which I don't want to do. Is this the only way they pay? Don't they do vouchers like e.g. vo? Or just a cheque? I would love to sign up as every penny helps now but I really don't want to give anyone my bank account number.
Thank you for your help. xxx

Anglea - same with me!!! So I made a folder - just 1!!! for my oc stuff plus all the special occasions stuff, and I have 2 other notebooks - 1 for my everyday stuff, dates and numbers, addresses and the second one is for work. It's tempting to buy notebooks, I love the smell of new paper. :-) :D
And I loooooooooooooooooove everything like Country Kitchen mag - all those nice things, old fashioned utensils, flowery :-) wallpaper, tablecloths - the lot!!!! :-) The English garden is a nice mag, too (but I am the greenfingered person here :-) ).

I don't how or why, but I completely forgot that it is father's day today and I didn't even send a card. I heard people talking about it, I just completely forgot that I HAVE a dad. :-) How useless am I? I feel like a right pillock!!!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, I am off to the garden now. :-)

    xxx
