I think going round a roundabout safely is more important, but just on the off chance that someone also listens to Radio Aire....

Its for a daily competition, but you need the name of the place, and then be listening again between 3-7 for a chance to ring in and win.

has anyone won from funky fogey before ? i saw my name that i won when i entered last month's comp but not heard from them. Have sent them a message via the contact page on their website but no answer

just wondered if prizes generally turn up

won an ipod touch a couple of years back. the phoned me to tell me, and said they'd emailed me a few weeks before to tell me and wondered why i hadnt responded to their email - I had never received it. So I would ring them if I were you just to check it's on its way.

Just wondered what people's tips are for cheapest way of entering postal / text competitions?

I've just entered a few postals, but am having to use blank envelopes which isn't very MSE!!

I'm on maternity leave so found lots of time for entering comps! Will also be looking for some to share too :-D

I'm in the same boat hun I am down as a winner for the wine comp but haven't heard anything, went through contact page and no response.

I do it a slightly different way to how the others have mentioned. I use MSE to subscribe to threads that are Monthly/Daily or are broke/to enter later. I have created folders in my subscriptions for each.

To do it this way
1) Logged into MSE forums go to> User CP
2) On the left hand menu in you USER CP, there is a section called "Subscribed Threads" and just below that is the option "Edit Folders" - click on that.

3) Create the folders you want (I have Broke or to enter later, Daily and Other Comp Threads)

4) To add a subscription, whilst viewing the thread you want to subscribe to, click on "Thread Tools" and choose "Subscribe To This Thread"

5) Then in the second drop down box, choose the folder to add the Thread to.

Any thread you subscribe to then has a little blue tick against it on the forum.

I find this easier than bookmarking as I quite often stay with my parents so it means I can still access my dailies etc whilst away from home!
