I am wanting to find out if faith should offer an alternative prize, the same prize with another travel agent or if it's just a write off.

I don't know the actual answer but I would contact faith shoes first. The terms and conditions for the competition says:

9. Prize is subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.

Looking at the t&c's tthe promoter was actually transworld publishers so might be best to contact them.

Pink chilli, if u cc in Faith , when u email transworld, hopefully between the two someone should sort it, i'd be surprised if between the 2 they don't sort something out xxx

If u can't find the emails for both at the right level , i have a h/o one for faith xxx

Theres 200+ pages of current comps in this section, so it would be easier for you to start with the normal comps before trying the repeat reg section.

hi everyone,
silly question i know, but could someone just tell me if the monthly comps come on to the main board as i have been holding off doing these incase i was duplicating and therefore disqualifying myself. i am going to scream :mad: if i have been holding off doing them for the want of not sounding stupid:rotfl:

They start here and sometimes get bumped ...use the thanks button first time, and maybe make a list of your own of the ones that are active to work from. Some are dead and it takes a while to show here when they die.
A decent way to save them is a bookmarks folder just for monthlies...then it's simple to work your way through them every month.

A lot of comps are dupes in everything but the site they are run from...same things offered up y different people ...so you can enter more than one.

It's not easy not to dupe sometimes whatever you do.

thank you timmers, now i just have to find out how to bookmark, i know it's still easy to dup coz i almost did it today i always click a thank you but can still get caught out if someone else posts same comp by accident xx

Not really a daft question as the answer's not actually straightforward...
I theory, all monthly (and weekly or daily) comps should go into the regular comps section.
However... (i.e. in practice!)
As many people rarely venture into that section, a huge number of regular comps are posted here on the main board so that they get a higher profile and reach greater numbers. Some are moved into the regular, many, many more remain here.
Told you there wasn't a straight answer
And this thread will be merged into the discussion thread, where it need to be to avoid cluttering the board, so hope you get to find it again!

Oddies- I just use "Add to Favourites" and have separate folders for Daily, Weekly & monthly comps.
I also have one just called Comps that I add any that are having "Issues" so I can return to them later.
