Does anybody know what the current instant win competitons are?After the 1in10wins.com dvd comp, i havn't seen too many instant wins.

I believe that the Smooth Radio competitions now have proper end dates.

I'll change then later tonight, because I don't have time now.

I have a couple of questions and I hope this is the right place to ask them, I apologise if it isn't.

The first one is - When you are entering an email competition and the message box comes up and you enter your details etc; am I right to click the 'send to mail recipient' bit and then it's done? and then when it asks if I want to 'save changes' etc, should I or not? I know it probably seems a daft question, but it's different from my email set up and I just wanted to make sure I'm sending it properly.

The second one is - is anyone waiting for their Rizla prizes from the advent competition? I won a mystery prize and also a tin, but haven't had them yet and I just wondered?

I hope someone can help with my questions, thank you!

This is the right place to ask Can't help youo with the 1st question but can with the 2nd! I'm still waiting for Rizla prize - I won on the advent comp last year too and the prizes arrived towards the end of January so should be with us in the next few weeks I imagine Well done!

Ah, thank you! I'm glad it was the right place to ask, too.:) I'm looking forward to getting my prizes - thanks for letting me know. I must admit I'm having lots of fun comping - it was the McVities bonkers comp that got me into all this and now I find it takes up a lot of my time (when I should be studying or doing housework lol).

Hi as a "newie" to the MSE site, I would love to join in on the competitions, I would like to get some advice as to what to do and how many competitions to enter. I have to admit that the only thing that I have EVER won was a standard lamp when I was 10!! Not much use to me then! I would appreciate any advice from users (please). What would I like to win - a holiday; £500 and some flowers. Any tips would be gratefully received. Many thanks in advance.

Hello Bobby and welcome. The first thing you really should do is read the 'Getting Started' thread HERE It will help you a lot. As to how many to enter, the answer to that is "as many as you have time for".

In the Weekly News Paper..

When we began to accept entries by email during the postal disputes in October & November it was to help our loyal readers,
Unfortunately competition answers & other details are being posted on websites, encouraging hundreds, if not thousands, of non-readers to enter, Obviously a number of these will have received prizes over the past few months.
This hardly seems fair when the contests are for the benefit of those who actually buy the paper.
Therefore it has been decided email entries will no longer be accepted. We realise this will inconvenience some, but it will ensure prizes only go to genuine readers.

I guess it must be one that doesn't produce an on-line edition.
