This is a bit off-task, but I've just started using this site and have just found this forum - did you win 4,400 from competitions posted on here Barnabysue? Great stuff!

I did, a couple of larger wins (a 42" and a 32" TV) and an Armani Goodie bag valued at £800 and lots of smaller items. I say the goodie bag was 'valued' at £800, this was because it contained a handbag that sells for £600. Though to be honest, to my mind, no handbag is 'worth' that amount just because it has a designer name. I have been very lucky, hope 2010 is as good.

Can i just ask: You know the magazine competitions, how do you set out the email? Reason I ask is cos a few people say they type everything in one line, and I don't. I set it out like this:

    Answer: etc. etc.

    Name
    Address line 1
    Address line 2
    Address line 3
    Postcode

    Telephone number [if asked]

    Age [if asked]

    email address [if asked]

Just wondering if im doing it correctly.

I was wondering that too, so thanks for the info. I type mine out pretty much the same too.

This might sound like a silly question, but here goes - when you've entered all the email details etc do you click on the 'send email to recipient' bit from the drop down menu? That's what I've been doing all along - it's just that there is no particular 'send' button that I can see and I just wondered if I've been doing it wrong and that I'm missing something obvious! :o

Sorry, I hope that makes sense.

Its just the one that pops up when you click on the email link in a comp - isn't it Windows or something?

I'm sure it must be - I can't see any other 'button' for sending, so hopefully that's fine. I just wondered you know?

    Thanks :D

Sounds like you are using Outlook. Normally the send button is in the standard toolbar. It should simply be a small box on the lefthand side of the toolbar which says SEND. It's the same tool bar as the save and print icons. If the toolbar isn't showing. Right click where the toolbar should be and make sure there is a tick on the 'standard' option. The send button should then appear. HTH
A big thank you to everyone who contibutes to the MSE forums :T
