I have never much liked texting and have only just started entering the competitions where you text the answers. I have entered several and got an acknowledgement each time so assume I am entered in the comps but I don't seem to have been charged for them.
I am now a bit worried that I am doing something wrong. I am on PAYG so would have thought the charge would have gone out straight away but today I have entered the DM Wishlist (50p + sc) and TV Choice (25p + sc) and each time only 10p has gone from my account.A few weeks ago I entered a Sun £1.50 + comp and still only 10p went out:eek:
Does anyone more knowledgeable about texting know something I am missing, or can set my mind at rest?

USUALLY you are charged for the acknowledgement text so if you are getting these then it should be charging you ok.
There could be a number of reasons for this but a couple are - have you enough credit? Are you sending the EXACT wording you need for each one? Are you getting the text back saying you have entered, otherwise is your inbox full?

That has been the feedback previously but Baby Giant has asked for them to be posted all in one post. I'm happy to do that (sure Lakshmi would be fine too who has been posting these for a while) but suggest we go with what most peeps want.
Posting here to save bumping another comp
I would much prefer them to be posted together in one post - I was just thinking this yesterday when i was entering the ones posted my Lakshmi as it took me about 10 mins to go through them all (didn't enter any of them!). would also save people getting confused and people commenting about the obviously wrong end date on every post  Would be worth asking Lakshmi tooo though or at least letting them know about this discussion.2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but thought I would try here first.
Today my lappy crashed so I've had to restore it back to factory settings.
I had the full paid up version of Roboform on it.
Please could someone tell me how I go about getting it installed without having to pay again?
Will the Roboform website remember my details if I go to download the free or paid version?
Help please!
Many thanks.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I've only been posting these whilst chickaroonee has been away.
However, I find them easier to post separately as not all the competitions are repeated on each station and I end up with having too many tabs open.It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.:A :A :AChocolate is the answer and I don't give a damn whatthe question is.;)0 -
Sorry I don't know Clutterfree but hope you get it sorted!
Blackmidnight I have PMd Lakshmi - edit she's posted at the same time as me
too many comps..not enough time!0 -

If you contact Roboform, they should have your details on their database. I think they send you a code so that you can re-install it.It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.:A :A :AChocolate is the answer and I don't give a damn whatthe question is.;)0 -

HTH xxx
Thank you for this.
I knew my credit was Ok but could easily have been putting the wrong details (bit dim, see) and did not realise the return text triggered the payment (also past it, obviously:o)
Turns out it was the latter - tried the last comp on that thread and checked the credit before sending then again after I had the acknowledgement (rather than immediately after sending as I had been doing) and the £1 charge had been taken - which I was very happy about as it is a great prize and well worth risking a quid:D
Many thanks again for your help

You should have a 10 digit reference code from Roboform. I seem to remember just downloading the pro version again and entering the code number. However, I may be wrong. Roboform were helpful when I contacted them last time.
Hope this helps0 -
