This may be a silly question but I've brought some Doritos tonight and there's no code inside the packet. Is that normal or are they just selective bags..?

It's the timecode on the outside of the packet for the comp. As long as it's a promotional packet mentioning the Xbox competition - think it's just the large bags :-)

Sorry if I'm just relaying old news but there are some good comps on the GMTV website (can't post link I'm afraid). You have to register with your details which is a bit of a pain but once you've done that once all you have to do is enter your email address and password. Read the T&Cs though because I think there's an entry restriction for each comp.

I know you're trying to help, but most comps are one entry per person and you can be disqualified for entering more than once.

We all spend some serious time filling in forms here. A lot of sites we either visit muliple times in one hit for many comps, other we visit regularly for regular comps.
Cocking up or entering a form without some required data is a pest too...having to re-enter all the fields for one thing missing :mad:

This add-on to Firefox lets you fill the form in again in one click, right click in the area the form is in..and select lazarus recover and it's back.

Some other auto form filling software exists..but few are as simple or free.

For the ITV .com comps it says for online entries that it is open for 3 working days does that mean the 1st three days or after the competition closes. Very ambiguous
