  • Hi all

I have just discovered the exciting world of comping (where have I been all this time?!?).......anyway I just had a quick (and possibly rather stupid) question........so.........here goes......

Ive noticed after looking at some of you regular compers that you have won some fabulous prizes....now....I tend to just do an hour or so a day or when I have a few spare mo's..........is this something that Ive reallly got to step up to be in with a chance? Do you spend hours a day doing this? or is it more of a hobbie? Do you enter for all and everything or just the ones that appeal?

I just didnt want to spend the odd hour here and there if it wasnt worth it!

I hope this makes sense? Not trying to ask for a prediction of whether I would win or not lol, just wondered if I need to get my finger out and do a little more??

    Thanks peeps

    SnS x
Some debts are fun when you are acquiring them, but none are fun when you set about retiring them!!! :(

It's amazing how fast later comes when you buy now!!!!

    I enter everything that appeals!

I probably spend about 2 - 2.5 hours a day actually comping (when I discount the hours I spend doing other things on here, or searching for comps to post). I do take time off when I don't enter anything at all, too!

I did estimate that I entered around 150 a day at one point (including 'regular' comps), but think it's realistically just under 100 now - I stopped bothering with most of the DVD comps and anything I didn't genuinely have a use for.

So I enter around 500 - 700 per week and win probably 2 comps per week, on average.

eta: And I'd count it as a fun hobby, which is why I'm sort of weaning myself off my addiction to spend hours on here and reducing the comps I enter

By the way - I'm going to PM a Board Guide to move this up into the Discussions board, incase you wonder where the post's gone!

    Good Luck!

Took me 3 days steady when I first started! I wasn't very mobile at the time, so I just sat in front of the computer from breakfast, working my way through. Paid off though - my Visit Scotland win was from a comp I entered in March (though I didn't find out until August!) ;)
  • ooowww Im excited!!! Cant wait to see what my first win will be!!

    Fingers crossed!!

Thank you for all your help x
