Sorry if this has been discussed already - I can't read back through 114 pages, got to get to work.

Has there been any discussion or decision with regard to next years comping challenge?

I certainly haven't seen anything but an idea I'd come up with is to try win at least one birthday/christmas present for each week of the year (so hoping to win 52 items over the year that would be suitable for presents)

I've entered a fair few of these competitions now. I'm due to get lucky soon, I'm a bit reluctant to give many more details as I think a lot of companies have my data now. My housemate won tickets to some private viewing of Take That. Invited me... I'll probably give it a miss being a guy hehe.

Does anybody else having trouble with subscribing to threads? It started today. After subscribing - it says that i'm subscribed, but on the list of threads there's no 'tick'. I also cannot delete any of the subscriptions on my list. I tried different browsers, computers even.. nothing.
Please help!

Edit: It came back to normal now

Regarding this - the MSE team maybe didn't answer because this part of the forum is not the be all and end all - they do not have a set of rules for the comps forum, as it started very small a few years ago and has rapidly grown over the past 4 years or so - with changes and improvements all the time as it expanded to try and keep everyone happy (which has not always been the case!)

The 'rules' of what goes where are really decided by the BG's of this forum - because it makes life easier to keep this now large forum running as smoothly as possible.

But changes are needed within the 'regular' section - personally I avoid it as it is a nightmare in my eyes to work through. I did try to wade through - but I failed!

Huge thanks though to those who maintain the dailies/weeklies/monthlies - it makes it a little easier!

If it wasn't for Amilucky don't know how i'd wade through them!

Hiya

Can one of the regs tell me how you wade through the squillions of comps? I tried putting in from the beggining and then ascending (then I tick thanks for all the ones I have done) is this the right way to do it or am I missing a trick (due to nappy brainage!)
