I know this was posted earlier today (probably 10am-12:30pm) as I have the email in my 'sent' folder, and this forum would be the only place I got it, but it has now disappeared (could this be due to the original post not having an end date?). Those of you who were on earlier should check your 'sent' folders.

Thanks to TPD below for confirming I'm not going mad!
  • One-eye it was posted up earlier. It has now gone. I think it was removed for self-promotion. Nowt wrong with the comp. though, just the original poster :)
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

:eek:Ain't me wot's linked to the site, honest, guv!
(I got details in an email.)
Am a bit confused by the comp being moved too .
There are quite a few comps on the main board that could be classified as, "Regulars," if we use the criteria that a competition is posted each month. (The Dell laptop is just one example, but it does get greater exposure there.)
Is there a reliable way of differentiating, please? I don't want to break any rules.
    Thanks

Grannybiker as i said in the PM i meant the guy that posted it earlier. You're right there are probably more monthly comps in the main board but they shouldn't be.If someone tells me or i see a monthly/weekly comp then i move it over like tonight(i knew this one was as i got the email earlier and entered before you posted it as the site states this months comp) but as alot of people still post regular comps on the main board is hard to keep track of them all.

I would also like some clarification over the whole "regular competitions" thing please. I thought the regular section was for competitions that allowed you to enter more than once, i.e. allowed you to enter once a day or once a week or once a month. However some of the competitions posted in this section and those moved to this section are sites that post a new competition every month, sometimes with different prizes and different questions. As these are completely separate competitions why are they counted as regular? Surely this definition would apply to most sites on the forum. This also has the disadvantage of possibly missing entering some competitions and then also not being able to discuss them when the threads in this section are locked. Does this mean that for example things like all the caravanmagazine competitions or the hellomagazine weekly ones (example) should be posted here? There isn't a sticky guide in the regular section and it is very confusing as nobody seems to know what the actual rules are for defining and posting "regular" competitions. Some get posted here and some don't. Please can someone help.
