    Maybe for simplicity deals, they search only EQ? As this is designed for people who would not eligible for mobile contracts due to adverse credit history.

    I know 02 do search EX and EQ for mobile contracts such as iphone. I had mine checked with both EX and EQ.

    Yes mate, Ex & Eq - they search both as well. CC only. For banks they only search EX but report to both.

    NOah I have had three credit check for iphone all within 3 months and they ONLY searched Equifax same as Sutton mate
    Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
    Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000
    6 credit accounts closed in 2010!

    Hi Innocent, where did you had your credit check? At 02 shop or online? I might consider amending the EX and EQ searches if there is a clear link to which CRA's 02 use to credit search ....whether its online or at 02 shop.

    I was in store / telephone and Sutton was Online I think

    It's deffo worth changing to Equifax

    I've applied a couple of times for O2 for an iPhone and everytime they have searched Equifax, they have never searched Experian for me.
