Hi MrsM if I can be of any help with specific recipes let me know..I have just a few :rotfl:
I also probably have most of the GF cookery books ever written, as well as every website there is bookmarked :o I also have a lot of the 'manufacturers' recipe booklets eg Juvela, glutafin etc..I'm sure we'll be able to help..:D
Are you ok with trace amounts as when you actually start to read labels it gets rather scary the amount of things wheat is actually in  as its used to dust stuff,to stop it sticking, bulk stuff out etc etc

Try this website for delicious treats http://piginthekitchen.blogspot.com/2007/03/cake-of-success.html. I made the truffles the other week and they were delicious. Scroll down and all the recipes are listed on the right. Not just gluten free, but egg and dairy free too!

I am also wheat free and have tried using the Doves Farm flours, but i find my bread just doesn't rise, tried a Spelt recipe and made the best loaf of bread so far.
    500 g Spelt flour
    7 g yeast
    1tblsp olive oil
    2 tblsp runny honey
    2 tblsp chopped fresh rosemary
put it all in the bread machine and put the setting on wholemeal loaves and leave to cook.
obviously, wheat free bread will never be as soft and fluffy as wheat bread, but this bread is the next best thing! it can also be frozen until needed!

Just a note for anyone who may not be aware that Spelt is a form of wheat - so is not suitable for those who need to be gluten-free (coliac)

Poor you, I had candida a few years ago after a long illness and a very low immune system.

I did loads of research and joined a great website (can't remember the name of it nowrolleyes.gif) and eventually got rid of it by cutting out sugar completely - no alcohol or anything that contained it - and taking a number of supplements like Grapeseed Extract, garlic and Pau D'Arco (found in most health shops).

Good luck in your quest to rid of it ... it will go, but may take a little time.

Hi Mimi thanks for that, I too have done a ton of research since it became apparent, and have been taking all those that you've said, with the addition of Capryllic acid and tons of supplements to boost the immune system!
