Toto, so sorry to hear Jas still isnt well hun.

Sounds like you've got a cracking childminder though. Shame we're all too far away to be any help.

Thanks Pap - I'll have a chat to the CDC when she comes on Wednesday.

I think everything that has happened over the last few days has killed my motivation to stick to it, because losing weight just doesn't seem that important.

Snaggs chat with her, someone on another forum gets bars and just one flavor shake because she cant eat soup etc. She started that from week 2 :D

PAP, you are wasted in your current job, you should become a counsellor (sp) for CD.

:rotfl:I have been wasted in that dump for years ~ so everyone keeps telling me. Hopefully when I am 'normal' and have more confidence I can get a better job :T Oh and I secretly want to become a CDC if it works for me :shhh:

My childminder is awesome, she's been with me for 9 years now. It's funny, I interviewed probably about 30 people. She was 18 skint and pregnant, no one would give her a job and I almost didn't. I saw loads of people more qualified, even though she did have a childcare qualification. But I had a gut feeling about her, I was going to employ someone else, but laying in bed that night I thought about her. The next morning I let my gut over rule my head and offered her the job.

In 9 years I have never had to question a thing she has done, she has been absolutely perfect. The kids adore her and she is the most patient and calm person I have ever met in my life.

Toto, your faith in her to start with is no doubt why you now have such a good relationship.
It's lovely that Jas is happy for her to be at the hospital.

Well done for having such faith in someone. You wouldnt get many willing to help out on a Sunday.
