£50,000 for a house???!!! Even in this recession I'm stunned that you can get a house for so little.
There are loads, just not where you live, or in places you'd say you didn't want to live.

I live with my parents. The idear of me renting the house is to pay my mam and dad back £15.000 then move in and reduce my weekly payment of £100 to £50 a week.

Plus she has a child so there would be know room for her here.
You do realise that if she refuses to move out when you want the property back, if you've p155ed her off and she digs her heels in, you will have to actually go to court and have her and the child dumped onto the streets by the bailiffs before she would be considered homeless and the responsibility of the council ... who would stick her in a hostel if she was lucky.

You're playing a dangerous game with Mr Winky there.

William, getting the rent is the least of your problems....in the worse case scenario!

Do your parents know that their tenant is getting special favours! What age are you as you come across very naive?! I'm not saying that true love is impossible when letting a property, but I always pick a tenant with my head not my nether regions......boring I know, but age and experience makes you do that! ;)

That said, if George Clooney turned up wanting my place............

Aside from the joking, you really need to get this all sorted, as your parents have invested a lot in you and this property. You are putting yourself and them at risk.

Once again thank you for your reply's.

    I am 25.

I do seem to have complicated things! But I am sure its not really that big of a problem at the minute.

All I want to know is if I stop there do i have to let any one know and stop getting the rent or is it not a issue?

She does have a rent book!

The tenant should notify the benefits people that she has a BF who occasionally stays over and confirm with them that as he doesn't live there it should not effect benefits. Just so that the nosy neighbour doesn't cause her problems in the future.

The landlord really should be able to see that this dangerous path is all going to end in tears.

Morally its obvious to me that he is taking advantage of his position.
