There's a factory shop for Dean's short bread in Huntly Aberdeenshire. They do seconds that are really really cheap and really really lovely to eat.
Their flavoured short bread biscuits are gorgeous.0 -

I got a couple of outlets from Good Deal before but I'm sure that considering the size of Liverpool there must be more!
Hiya
QVC (the Shopping Channel) has an outlet store in Birchwood Shopping Centre, Warrington (just off junction 11 of M62 - follow signs for Birchwood!)
It sells all the stuff from QVC either when they only have a small stock left, or the returned items.
I've picked up loads of cheap stuff there - you just got to make sure you open each box to see if sets are complete etc.
Happy Shopping0 -
Hey everyone
Is there anything in the North-West London area?
The Galleria outlet centre in Hatfield is quite good. They have an M&S outlet shop (got knickers for £1, bras for £2, all with price tags of of £5-£20). They also have a Bid-Up TV shop. The Next outlet (Choice) is really good too - I got a shirt there for £6, and it was £10 in the regular shops in the Christmas sales!

angela-la wrote:How far south are we talking? Best one in Poole/Bournemouth area must be Poole Lighting. I never pay full price for my lights now.
I'm not absolutally sure, but I seriously suspect Poole Lighting have started to sell on ebay.co.uk under the seller id decorumlighting .
Even if they arn't the same company they are excellent to bid on. I picked up the perfect glass / chrome wall light for just over a fiver!
So far they seem to list about a dozen auctions at a time, and don't have a shop yet, but their service is just fine. You even get the speak to the lady who organises the ebay side of things when you phone up to pay.
So if you want to benefit from Poole Lighting style low prices but don't live nearby check out decorumlighting on ebay.co.uk and keep an eye on their listings.Sometimes you wake up grumpy ... but if you're wise, you'll let her sleep in.0 -

A true factory shop in every sense exists at the Lever factory in Port Sunlight on the Wirral. Technically you need to be an employee to shop there but my wife goes all the time (she works near there) and has never been quizzed.
Basically, if Lever Bros. make it, they've got it. The labels may be in a foreign language but all the top Lever brand names are there and for some reason they sell Pataks curry pastes too.
We get all our washing liquids and softeners there. The good thing is they do the monster size bottles for professional use so you don't need to keep going back every week which is just as well as there is a limit (?) on how much you can take away at any one time.
And while on the Wirral there is the Cheshire Oaks Macarthur Glen village in Ellesmere Port (off the M53). All the usual suspects there but there is also an excellent Samsonite outlet with REAL bargains to be had. Samsonite also make the luggage range for Lacoste and you can pick up perfect pieces with 30% off, sometimes more. Look carefully as it's tucked away but it's a real gem.0 -
I thought i'd do my bit and contact Mars Chocolate in Slough Berkshire, but they said they don't have a factory shop open to the public .... unless anyone knows where it is and they don't check if you go in ?0

If you are in the Herefordshire area, it might be worth vhecking out the Sun valley shop. Does loads of chicken products for Sainsburys and marks & spencers really cheap. It used to be a staff shop only, but now any one can use it. It is located off Grandstand Road / Yazor Road near to the Hungry Horse (was the cannybrook pub years ago). There is also a staff shop via Bulmers, but you have to be a member of staff to use it.0

There is a factory shop in Whitwick, near Coalville, Leicestershire which sells Rigby and Peller, Fantasie, Freya and many other branded lingerie for a fraction of the shop prices and there isn't anything wrong with them.
They sell at the following prices
Rigby and Peller bras: £16 (£60 in the shops or from bravissimo)
Freya and Fantasie: 12.99 (approx £30 in the shops)
They also send the corresponding knickers and suspender belts if you like sets, and they also sell footprints swimwear (sold through bravissimo) for approx £25-30 and various basques, etc.
They also usually have a slight seconds section, where the R&P bras are usually £7-10 and Freya & fantasie are £5-7.
The shop is called Eveden Ltd and they open Tues-Fri 10am-4pm and Sat 9-1pm. They have a sale twice a year where you can get rigby and peller bras for £10 each and the f&f bras for £7 each.
Most importantly though, even though they stock most sizes, they specialize in larger cup sizes (they even sell H-J cups!)and if you ring before you go, they'll tell you what they have in in your size so you don't have a wasted journey.
The savings you make are well worth a trip. My sister lives in London and comes up to visit the shop about 2-3 times a year and normally brings orders from her friends as well.
Almost 4 R&P bras for the price of a shop bought 1 - now that is a bargain!
PS: Apologies if someone has already posted about this shop but i didn't have time to read all the posts.0
