I have noticed a referral to the McArthur Glen Outlet in York but not to the one in Ashford, Kent. Please forgive me if this has been mentioned before.

The McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in Ashford is great. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

It is just off Junction 10 of the M20. Follow the signs towards Ashford International Railway Station and look out for the big white tented structure, (which is the McArthur Glen Outlet). They are open Mon, Tue, Wed and Friday 10am-6pm, Thursdays they open 10am-8pm, Saturdays 10am-7pm and Sundays 11am-5pm.

The outlets are in a big circle around the car park (car park charges apply). The shops and walkways are covered by the huge white canvas which makes it lovely in summer but, although dry, it can be a bit breezy in the winter when walking around. There is a foodcourt with all the usual fast food outlets plus some healthier food options available, such as jacket potatoes. There is also a childrens play area.

They boast over 70 top designer brands offering discounts of up to 50%.

These outlets include names such as: Gap, Littlewoods catalogue, Nike, JoKids, Fila, Tommy Hilfiger, Reebok, Toyzone, M & S, Bodyshop, Woods of Windsor, Prices Candles, Tog 24, Levis, Lee Cooper, Pilot, Ben Sherman, Polo, Walker & Hall, Claires Accessories, Antler, Samsonite, The Suit Company, Fred Perry, Suits You, Jane Shilton, Clarks, Lilly and Skinner, Soled Out, Sunglasses Hut Edinburgh Crystal and Wedgwood... to name a few.

I live near the Ashford MacArthur Glen and it is worth remembering that the stores do change quite frequently - for example Price's Candles are no longer there and neither are Wedgewood. I would also say there are a lot of sports outlets there if that is what you are after.

You also be interested to know (apologies if this one has already been mentioned) that there is also an outlet centre at Chatham Docks - never been there if anyone has let me know if it is worth a visit!

Have been through the postings and forgive me if I've missed it but what about Manchester. Cant see much in this area!
Im new to all this but getting into it quite quickly. Dont know where to start looking for outlets up here. Clothes and house stuff are the main interest for us.
Any ideas anyone, would really appreciate knowing of any.

The Lowry Outlet https://www.lowrydesigneroutlet.com is near you - worth a visit.
Cheshire Oaks MacArthur Glen is a huge outlet near Ellesmere Port - about 45 mins by car from Manchester.
