Great Factory Shops Hunt

Cheshire babe - to be honest I woudnt recommend making a special trip or long journey specifically for the shops at Lowry Designer Outlet. There arnt that many shops there and I didnt think there were many bargains to be had. Food court stoppped serving food 30 mins before closing and you have to spend (I think its £5) to get 4 hrs free parking otherwise you have to pay it. Much better by far is Cheshire Oaks (McArthur Glen) nr Ellmsmere Port, especially when the sales are on. They have mostly clothes and homewares, the usual food court plus a few larger non-discount stores (Next, PC World etc) just outside and no car parking charges. I think there is an outlet of some kind in Chester which is also meant to be good.0

is anyone going to tell us all the addresses of these factory shops!!!
PLEASE and thanks0 -
There are some great shops in the Wilton Village complex. (This is in Wilton, of course!). The Wilton Carpet Factory shop is well worth a visit and you can do a tour of the factory as well. They have a large Pavers shop (shoes) with great (discount) prices 'Flyflots' (Italian scientifically designed shoes and sandals at £29.99 reduced from £40+), Clarke's and many others and a good collection of clothes outlets (Edinburgh Wool etc).Jesus loves you:j Everybody else thinks you're an idiot:rolleyes:0

I was reading one of the posts involving buying food stuff from a factory shop and I wondered how you find out what factories have shops open to the public? I live quite near a chocolate factory that has a shop but didn't know it was there for about 14 years! How do you find them? Does anyone know of any cheap food outlets in Norfolk - I'm happy to buy bulk!!
There is a book published called The Official Great British Factory Shop Guide by Gill Cutress & Rolf Stricker. This lists factory shops, what they sell and how to get to them. nearly 800 pages. Their website: https://www.factoryshopguide.co.uk. I have an old copy which cost me £14.99 but it has been really useful. hey do smaller books for different regions. Really recommond it.The Official Great British Factory Shop Guide by Gill Cutress & Rolf StrickerThe Official Great British Factory Shop Guide by Gill Cutress & Rolf Stricker0 -
Velmore factory shop in Ellesmere Port, sells M&S womenswear including Limited Collection. Prices are good, mostly about half what you pay in M&S0

does anyone know of any factory shops around the norwich areaI ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
halloweenqueen wrote:I got a book from eBay giving factory listings but they were for mainly highbrow stuff and I'm more into cheapy's and food! It did list the choccie factory - which I am a regular patron of! I mainly got No's and the veggie place was further away from me than I thought so cheaper to go to Netto's
What choccie factory?
:j0 -
I think it's Kinnerton's in Fakenham0

There appear to be several factory shops around. But nobody has provided the addresses. How do I find these?0
