No Refund!

Started Dispute proceedings, but that could take up to 3 weeks...

Still, at least i'm protected & will get every penny back!

Halifax have told me could be up to 6 weeks for refund due to the number of companies closing and claims in progress!!! Hopefully get my money back though.

still waiting for my `refund e-mail` from scitech...credit card company have told me they have to wait 30 days from purchase date before they can do any thing...watch this space......I need a hug..!!!:(

I ordered my Wii Fit (£49.99) on 12th June and after it didn't turn up after a week, emailed and was told the offer was very popular and it would take the full 10 days to deliver - no apology mind you. So, 10 working days was up on 26th and still no sign. Have emailed them every day since then but no reply and no one is picking up the phone.

After seeing the site message I'm fuming. How dare they take orders and money and not deliver!!

Looks like I need to speak to my bank!

Contacted trading standards today who weren't much help and just advised me to claim a refund via my credit card.
Scitech website is also saying that they expect there bank account to be active again from Thursday, other forums are saying this is another lie!!!

I placed order on 13th June, called them on 16th as no monies taken a really helpful man said they would take the money later that day (which they did) and that stock had been assigned to my order. Now reading their website notice I wonder will I get a refund or will I get my order?? I emailed them two days ago as they are not answering their phones asking if I will get a refund or my order as for my sons birthday next week but susprise surprise no reply - I dont have a credit card so used my debit card - anyone know if I can get my money back?

Huneybee, some people who paid via debit card have spoken to there banks who have agreed to investigate providing a refund.
I would recomend you speak to your bank as I doubt very much you will get anything from Scitech!!!

I ordered my wii on the 28th of may the money taking out on the 2nd of july i had to wait until today for my credit card company to do anything as they have to wait for 30days after the money was taking out by scitech and for me to get a refund can take another 4 or 5 weeks they said, am so angry at scitech for taking peoples money when they knew they were in trouble and for them blantley lying to customers i'll be spreading the word for people i know never to order of this circus if they ever reopen to selling... i ordered another wii of argos on friday and it was delivered on monday without a hitch!!!

Ordered my Wii on the 26th of MAY and payment was taken straight away. I tried to email and phone numerous time without any reply! Im just glad i paid with my cred card so i can claim the moneys back! Ordered another Wii from the Toys R us website on wednesday and it arrived today! I think the moral of this story is, If you have the slightest doubt about ordering from the net always use your credit card.. just in case!!...

im also in this kind of situation. i used my debit card to order for a sony psp since 13th june. all effort to contact scitect have prove very unproductive. At first, i was being lied to about the delivery time and days but seeing the website recently i really dont know what to do about the situation. i think it is really unfair to take peoples money if they know that product delivery was a problem for them. Other trading website will simple tell you if they are out of stock even before you place your order. Does anyone know what im suppose to do about this scitech sh***.. ???
