    To All SciTech Computers Customers

We would firstly like to APOLOGISE for any inconvenience we may have caused.
All customers who have received their products, we would like to THANK YOU for your custom.

For all other customers who have not received their products, they HAVE BEEN and WILL BE GIVEN A FULL REFUND. This has been confirmed by email.

The REASON why stock is not being sent out is because BANK OF SCOTLAND have held our funds for over a WEEK and on numerous occasions PREVIUOSLY, which meant we have no funds left to purchase more products to send out to our customers and our stocks have diminished. Also it meant that the delivery time was delayed, hence why we have had such bad reviews from customers.

We have been forced out of business by BANK OF SCOTLAND.

I am yet to receive your email confirming my refund, but why has there been zero response to emails and by phone until this statement?

When and who will be refunding us. Scitech or the Bank of Scotland as the number you added (Bank of Scotland Merchant Services) Isn't actually a number?
  • Had a major panic last night as I ordered a Wii and Wii fit off them just over a week ago. Phoned my Credit Card company at 10pm (not knowing the site I luckily thought to pay by Credit card and not by Debit card as I normally do just incase of any situation such as this). They confirmed that my money had been refunded on the 23rd June.

A great relief! I think Scitech are genuine and obviously have been unable to cope with the amount of orders but it would have been nice of them to inform their customers before now to avoid this panic considering the refund was done 3 days ago!

I'm sticking to well known websites from now on even if they are more expensive!!
  • Has anyone who paid by debit card received a refund or the email regarding refund?

I haven't received anything from Scitech so contacted my bank and have requested a refund under the consumer credit act. If anyone does get a refund from them can they post it on this thread?

    Thanks
  • Hi,
I orderd a wii, wii fit and Wii sports on 18th May.

Waited 4 weeks on them to arrive. Finally got the order thorugh although claiming to sell Brand New items, the wii I received was second hand and also did not even work! THe most shocking thing of all was that inside the box there was a rememberance card of some old man who died - obvioulsy a relative of the previous owner of the wii! I was horrified as this was purchased as a gift!!

I called Scitech and they told me to send back the wii and they would refund me the postage charges and they would send me out a brand new replacement item. Plus they offered me £20 refund due to all the hassle.

I never got it nor did I ever get my replacement wii. Now they seem to have gone into administration and I have been phoning them all week with no luck.

I paid by debit card so I'm not even fully covered, I have not received any email from them advising that they will refund me either. Im so annoyed.

Lets just hope the banks can get this sorted out for us!!! They should have STOPPED accepting orders when they knew they could not fulfill them and they probably wouldnt have got into this situation!

    Has anyone been refunded?
  • I have contacted my bank to begin proceedings to get a refund.

They took £200 from my account on 10th June and like most people here, we have no goods.

knew it was too good to be true!

funnily enough, i was just contemplating ordering more wii games off them as they were so reasonably priced!

order for wii, wii fit & wii play placed on 15th of June
called twice but was only going to start chasing today.

went on sci tech site 1st & saw the lovely notice...
which to be honest, is a lot better than some sites!

Oh well, no wii for my 40th & got the hassle of chasing refund through credit card company. Deep Joy!

should've placed the damn order with amazon! DOH!
