Hi I thought I'd add a post as I've just cancelled my order for a Wii Console £139.99 and some other bits totalling £230 and I'm absolutely fuming. It remains to be seen how long it will take to refund the money - if their dispatch team is anything to go by I'm not holding out my luck!

I ordered on the 25th of May and after countless emails and their apologies as they didnt realise the offer would generate this much interest (a wii for £139.99, people are going to bite your arm off for that!!!) so anyway, on the 15th of June I'd had enough - I think their phones are only manned by one person, and is always engaged, and when you do get through its answered by a chap going by the name of Ali who gives excuse after excuse, BUT thats not good enough!

I think they're an entirely legitimate company, however, due to this offer for a WII at £139.99 they've perhaps bitten off more than they can chew and have totally f*cked up and now they cant cope with the demand!!! They've apparently been in operation since 2004, they appear on the Companies House database and have a reasonable credit rating (creditsafe.uk)

What surprises me is that the WII is STILL ON OFFER for £139.99 so if you want a HUGE wait go for it, or if you want hassle free ordering and go instore and get your wii same day - go to a reputible company like argos (all that hassle gone for about £30 more!!)

Hope I've helped somehow, I wish I knew all this before ordering!

    Take care

Just had my PS3 delivered at work today. Was promised it would arrive early last week but I'm glad it came eventually. Their phone line is difficult to get through on but at least they delivered eventually. I think their communication could have been better but I do know they have been overwhelmed with their Wii offer. I would advise anyone who cant wait a few weeks to order elsewhere.
  • Hi Folks,

Well a nice man from Parcelforce woke me up at 7am today to deliver my Nintendo Wi so im delighted! I was so naffed off last week and nearly cancelled the order but im happy to say better late than never.
The offer is still on with this company so if you do want a bargain then all i`ll say is that they are a legitamate company but they are a small operation and they did not expect the offer to be as popular as it has been. Be prepared to wait a few weeks for delivery but it will eventually come :o

Cant wait to try mine out now!

    (1st post!)

Okay, slightly worried but relieved that wii's are coming through...

spent yesterday searching for best price on line, either package or separates to surprise my wife.

offer to compare against was Play's Wii console (w std wii sports) + Wii Fit (w balance board) for £219.99. which is a good deal in itself...

the nearest comparable offer was Dixon & Currys who were advertising wii + wii fit + ea sports active for (i think) £250, which worked out £5 cheaper than Play. however 1 website said sold out & then both sites went down for maintenance!

Can't remeber how but another search turned up SciTech.....

wii for £139.99, yeah right, i thought!

I wanted to establish legitimacy, so was glad to see both a number & trading address displayed (+ having friends in Ashton under Lyme, i was confident of being able to get them or myself to call in personally!).

anyway, i rang before ordering & got through on around my 10th attempt. had a long chat & felt assured enough to place order, using credit card.

Ordered wii + wii fit + wii play (w controller) for £214!

now, just got to hold my breath...

    Ti

NB: friends in Ashton having a get together this wkd, very tempted to see if i can go & collect on saturday!!!

forgot to mention that Amazon are also doing a good offer, although their checkout system isn't accepting it!

    the offer is as follows:

    06/15/09 14:15:12
Comments trying to take advantage of your Nintendo Wii offer, as advertised at:

not allowed to post links as new user, damn silly!
pm me if you experience problems!

Step 1 states Buy Console, come back to page & add selected game to order for just £10.

Done & chose Wii Play (inc controller) (£29.07).

Step 2 states Add one selected game to your basket for free.

Done, chose Mario Kart (inc wheel) (£29.99)

Step 3 states get £5.00 off EA Sports Active when Wii console purchased.

Done, selected EA Sports Active at £34.96.

Followed all of the above steps but at checkout, i'm only receiving a solitary £29.99 discount! (mario kart)

Not the promised Free Game, Game for £10.00 or £5.00 off EA Sports Active.

According to the text on the above link, I should be receiving either wii play or mario kart for free & just paying £10.00 for the other game. I should also be getting a £5.00 discount off the EA Sports game!?

Total discount should be at least £54.98 not £29.99.

With this discount, you are cheaper than Play, without it, i'll just take my business to Play & order their Wii + Wii Fit Bundle + the other games listed.

Please reply ASAP as i want to place my order within the next 24 hours.
    Regards,
    Phil Innamorati

I'm a moneysavingexpert newbie so be nice to me :)

I've just been reading all your helpful comments about this company. I'm in no rush so am considering purchasing from them as I can get the PS3 and Wii fit for the same price I was gonna pay just for the PS3.

However, before I order, one question.....

Are these brand new consoles rather than refurbs??

    Thanx in advance

Gravy - according to what i was told yesterday, these are all brand new & uk spec.

just rung again (got through after about 5 attempts) & spoke to same gent as yesterday.

i did email them earlier, dangling my carrot of being in a position to put a lot of business there way...

anyway, can't collect saturday, as (1) only open mon-fri; (2) no stock kept on office site, it's all located in warehouses around Manchester & (3) no facilities to deal with customers 'face-face' at Ashton address...

still, all things considered & as i'm in no particular rush, i'm happy to deal with them & then chase if required...

At least members on here are getting consoles delivered...

    Ti

NB: I've also alerted them to the fact that they are getting mixed feedback on several consumer websites, hopefully, they will take this on board...?

Tiamo - thanx for the reply. That was my only concern as other people's orders seem to be turning up (albiet slowly)

I too have ordered my PS3 and Wii Fit as I am also in no rush and am willing to chase, as the price it has cost me for the two pieces of hardware is the same as ONLY a PS3 on all other sites.

    BONUS!

I have been assured by them that all items are brand new and UK spec I will wait until hopefully next week to confirm this.

Can anyone who's items have arrived confirm that they are UK spec and everything is in working order?
