Glad to read here they are an 'established' company as I was a bit worried having just ordered off their web site an Acer Aspire 8930G - 864G64BN laptop for £730 which is a whopping £269 cheaper than the RRP and £140 cheaper than the next nearest price (offered by play and amazon).
Free delivery and no credit card surcharge ... seemed too good to be true and I have often read the advice on these forums (long time lurker ^^) regarding that state of mind!
Anyhow, fingers crossed and I shall update you when received.0 -

I am a little nervous after placing my order with scitech, i haven't been able to contact them at all.
Can anyone advise what numbers they are using and whether they receve comunication from them other than confirmation of the order?
I ordered a PS3 on Sunday and need to receive it before the end of July which i'm hoping isn't out of the question?!0 -
I rang them today to double check on my order above - I used 0161 330 0072. The first two times in the morning it was engaged and third time just after 2pm it was answered after about 7 rings.
A helpful chap told me it would likely be despatched Tuesday or Wednesday next week, he said they did usually despatch before the 7-10 day free delivery period but having read previous posts re the Wii I am not so sure, maybe computers are different?0 -
stumbled on this forum by accident ..looking for ways to contact scitech because cant get any reply from their phone number..(0161 330 0072).......ordered nintendo wii on 10th june ...still waiting for delivery...after reading all the postings Im worried now !!! :eek:0

My enquiry emails before placing my order for a Wii and Wii fit were answered promptly, however after having £200 taken from me on the 9th July it's almost been 3 weeks and no sign of my order.
Dozens of emails have not been replied to!
A hundred or so phone calls won't connect!
I feel scammed, so I have no option but to get help from trading standards and seek legal help.0 -
Week number 7 waiting for my delivery, have been told it will be with me this week. If not I will be seeking leagal action as well!!!!0

I have not been waiting quite as long as many, for £230s worth of Wii equipment, but today I see on their website many items are tagged "Catalog Suspended". I am even more worried now!0
