  • Yesterday, 3 Mobile, fairly umprompted offer of £180 Comet vouchers + new phone to stay for a further 18 months
  • i've been with vodafone for a few years now, never had a problem until recently upgrading. Originally, i had unlimited calls to any network, unlimited internet and data charges, unlimited txt messages, all for £40 per month, when i upgraded suddenly my unlimited calls are now to landlines, i also get charged for data, so the internet is no longer free. I still have 18 months left on my contract, i have tried to alter it but they dont want to know, so , i'm thinking about getting another phone, on T-Mobile, which will give me the unlimited DATA and mobile to mobile calls, for £20 per month, which is better than forking out close to £100 each month, then when my vodafone contract comes to an end i wont renew. Has anybody else had similar problems ????

    Hi

I'm out of contract on 12/4 with Orange. Currently I get 850 mins, 500 texts for 20p/m.

To stay with them they have offered me the racoon 25p/m - 800 mins/ 1000 texts/ unlimited internet + HTC desire (free - once it is released).

Is this a good deal? They don't seem to want to negiotate anymore with me.

    Thanks
  • Anyone here tried to haggle on a SIM only contract? I'm on O2's 30 day SIM only (£20/month, 600 minutes, unlimited texts) but have seen a Vodafone SIM only deal for the same price and same amount of minutes and texts but with 500MB of data (or 1GB if I lock in for a year), and as I use mobile internet quite a bit I'm just wondering if it's worth trying it. I've been with O2 for about eight years.

I don't want a new phone - I just bought a Samsung Genio Slide on Vodafone PAYG and I like it well enough - and am fine to be locked in for a year, but am just wondering if it's worth the hassle as they've only got me for a year.

  • I'm currently a long term pay as you go o2 user, but looking to upgrade to pay monthly....but none of the deals grab my fancy. Do i stand much a chance of getting a better deal by ringing up? seen quite a good cashback deal....but would rather go straight through o2!

Actually that does sounds pretty good. Compare this to Vodafone's current offerings for the HTC Desire. I assume this will be for a 24month contract, but even still - pretty good.

    Hey Lee

Unfortunately you aren't able to negotiate for an iPhone deal, as Apple have set the prices.
  • so what the cost of an iphone?

    what is the best alternative?
