Sally, sorry to hear that CS still hasn’t replied your complaint yet
, it’s been such a long time and also the incident was quite traumatic. The manager in HSK (or team leader, not sure) was quite nice. Maybe you can go see him and also show him the printed email. Well, somebody has to apologise!! Also as Angie said, give CS a call just to remind them as well, try speaking to a senior advisor or something? Allegation of shoplifting isn’t something a customer can just forgive and let go, is it?? Good luck hun, you have our full support here!
By the way thanks for sharing the tips about the women’s KOS with us! I’m sure many of us will benefit from it!;)
diane1975 sorry to hear about your bad experience too but glad you confronted the rude SA, you are much braver than me:o. Looks like bad customer service is becoming a more and more common practice for boots now, how sad!Good luck with your complain and please keep us posted!

Hi the wipes are fine, if you have any issues please contact customer services or your local store. The thread got wiped as it got a bit heated.
Thanks for your kind offer re fillers for baskets but I'm afraid that sort of thing isn't allowed on the MSE forum, for your safety more than anything.:D
BTW its Broclo, hope thats a genuine spelling error!
Hi Triker,
I posted about these too as I use them, did I miss an official announcement about the wipes?
If so, could you please point me in the right direction as I have not yet heard back from CS, thank you.
There were a lot of concerned mummies/granny's etc posting about the wipes so some closure would be good on them.
Yes, it was a very heated debate but it was also a serious one that need's to be clarified.0 -
Mini glitch
John Frieda Luminous Colour glaze (all colours) £6.84
But on dot.com at the minute going through at 3 for £10, should be £20.52, now £10.0 -

Thankyou for that. Just like to add that I had a peek at the new No7 gift today and it is ok, but you need to spend £20. Will any of the new Advantage card vouchers make it a lower spend? For example if I buy either the Peel or Line Lift and make up the difference to £20 before any vouchers are deducted. Has anyone tried this. Grateful for any help.:)0 -
HI Sugarcandyk
I haven't tried it but I am sure it will work as the till will see the RRP price.0 -

I don't think anyone is qualified to clarify on here. Boots have their own procedures after such complaints so I'm sure they will communicate to their customers one way or another........
Though if anyone is seriously worried about using them in the meantime I would suggest they simply don't.
Popped into my local yesterday and bought 3 Sexy Motherpucker's for £4 each instead of £8 each from clearance. It was the peach flavoured one - perhaps it's being discontinued?
Though my store is tiny and it sometimes has things in clearance purely because of delivery error and it doesn't normally stock that particular item."Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
:hello:hi dee 753 did you see the H&B magazen in our local as i m looking for it but i did not see it:rolleyes:0

I personally haven't tried it yet, but i expect you would be able to get the gwp as it will have already been scanned with all the purchases BEFORE the vouchers are taken near the end, if you understand what i mean?
When there was the £5 off protect and perfect and the £5 no7 vouchers at the same time, people were able to get the current at the time for only a few pounds spend as everything got put through the till, THEN the vouchers were taken off. So as far as the till knows, you have got items to the value of £20 when everything is put through.
