If you use your points then you usually get all of the deals that you woud when you pay with cash. So you should have got 2 deodorants for 300 points, providing they were the right ones and the promotion had actually started when you paid. hope that helps

Your points should have been deducted in line with the cash you would have spent on the deodrants normally.......i.e - you should still have been able to have the 2 for £3 offer, it should have taken 300 points.

    Hope that's clear......;)

    That's great! :j

Do you know if it recognises the £5 spend before the 3 for 2 kicks in?

    Thanks to both of you.

I thought it seemed a bit odd. It was the 150ml Nivea pearl deodorants that are on 2 for £3 at the mo. I bought 6 so it should have been 900 points... but she has taken 1440 points.

This is the first time I've spent points and it has gone wrong! I hope they'll give me the extra back, as I didn't notice until I checked my points balance at home :S I feel super stingy for asking as I got them for free anyway (& they always make me feel like vouchers are a hassle to them), but that's £5.40 that I could have spent on something else...

Yeah, take them and your receipt back and just explain. In my experience they have always honoured what they've advertised and they can manually add your points back on! ;)

    Hi

I have just added the new points codes for online orders on the codes forum - see front page
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=21759345#post21759345

I also got 1 Ted Baker face scrub for men and 2 Ted Baker eye gels for men for the princely sum of £1.93 today, using the 3 for 2 offer.

Oops, forgot to finish my post properly - apologies, OH was on the phone to me and I was finding it difficult to type!

Anyways, other than reduced SEL in the mens grooming and the false nails/tweezers/make-up tools section, Stevenage Boots had a couple of the old GWP's left - all with awful clashing shades in them, but no new GWP's so I didn't bother buying even though the 3for2 is on. I want the new good GWP!

Also there are two sections of reduced cosmetics in the cosmetics section, one opposite the No7 stuff with the last chance to buy items and another on the next row next to...I think it was next to the Prestige cosmetics...and the Barry M stuff. They had Benefit eye something for £6.50 (Sorry i wasn't paying attention) and lots of other brands at £1-2 including Barry M, Prestige and Natural collection.

Got my sunglasses voucher - absolutely useless to me as I wear glasses, am on a tight budget, and their cheapest prescription sunglasses weren't to my liking. Shame but I'll find someone to give it to - I'm forever foisting vouchers on people because I don't want to see them go to waste! :D

Need some advice from you lovely Bootsing ladies - I'm thinking of buying the No.7 facial hair trimmer, is it any good? I've got PCOS and started getting hair on my chin  which I've been plucking but that's causing scarring. Having electrolysis but need something to keep me tidy between sessions.

Don't want to waste money on buying the wrong thing!
I bought the No 7 trimmer before Christmas but I wasn't impressed with it, it seemed quite flimsy and kept on falling apart. I then bought one by JML for around £15 which is much more sturdy and has been recommended on here a few times. I think Boots may still sell them.
