Spending Boots points... question about promos.

Hi,

I spent some of my Boots points today. A lot of the things I bought were on 2 for £3... but having checked my receipt, they have all gone through as full price. So I'm wondering if when you use your Boots points to buy things, do they not let you take advantage of other promotions?

They are deodorants that I've bought. I didn't realise until I got home and saw that my points balance is a lot lower than it should be
