I am well annoyed. Yesterday I had an email from Boots Viewpoint to ask if I would like to take part in trying products etc. I did the on -line survey.............filled in all my details including buying habits. Persanol stuff as well. Then I received a further email telling me a product will be sent to my address.

Now, today I receive an email telling me that someone their end messed up and I will NOT be doing the trials for them:mad: They already have a team and I was a big MISTAKE :confused:I wasted at least 45 minutes of my time yesterday going through their criteria. As this happened to anyone else?

Wondering if this is some kind of underhand way of them trying to get consumer:eek: information for free!!

hi this happened to me too

I've bought a few things from the 17 range over the years purely to get the gift lol.

The blushers are fairly good quality for the price, as are the bronzers, they don't have a huge range of colours though. I like the small pots of lip glaze, they have great colours which are long lasting. Lip glosses are alright too, as are nail polishes.

I would steer clear of the lipsticks and mascaras though. The lippie's are pretty drying and i just don't rate cheap mascaras.

Thanks very much :) might grab a blusher then, im always finding i go off whichever one im using after a while and sometimes i find the more expensive ones give too much colour anyway.

And definitely grabbing a glamour (or 2.. or 10!) on 4th june for that free benefit mascara!

The 17 mineral foundation in rose is a very nice natural pinky shade. Useful too as it's in a prefilled brush so it's all in one.

Just thought I would mention to keep a look out for reduced mirrors. I got 2 reduced pedestal mirrors at my local little shop today, reduced from £14 something to £3.75 each.

    Hi Triker,

I posted about these too as I use them, did I miss an official announcement about the wipes?

If so, could you please point me in the right direction as I have not yet heard back from CS, thank you.

There were a lot of concerned mummies/granny's etc posting about the wipes so some closure would be good on them.

Yes, it was a very heated debate but it was also a serious one that need's to be clarified.

Hi apologies just seen your post, nope their was no 'official' announcement but (can't remember who now, sorry) someone said that the general advice if anyone had any worries was to ring CS or go to their local store. Which I suppose is common sense, bit poor that CS haven't contacted you back though, I'd ring and ask them why no response.

Nobody else appears to have had any issues with any wipes, or reported any sensitivity, which is a positive.
