Actually, having looked at my registration email with my reference number (that's as far as I went....) it has come from support@micro-p and if I hit reply it stays the same. The 'proper' Micro-P website has three dongles on it. Curiouser and curiouser....0

Update to the earlier Egg automated security call we got.......OH phoned this evening and Egg say this was just routine and not because of anything particularly dodgy flagging up. Told them the story and was given the same warning as from Tesco....monitor closely and call again if anything happens. I'm not as worried as I was earlier but I still dont feel entirely comfortable with it all and I'll be watching our accounts like a hawk over the next while.Herman - MP for all!0

When i rang about my card, before they cancelled it they spoke to there security department to see if they know of the site etc. The security department said they was not 100% sure as to the security on that site and said they would rather me cancel my card. So that is what i did. They also said that the payment had not gone straight thro which normally it would but for some reason it was pending still which they thought was odd. I hope its all ok for everyone. I just cant afford to take a risk.0

Someone should make trading standards aware of the site - even if it's legit, the company shouldn't be collecting sensitive personal information over an unsecured connection - it's part of their legal obligation to protect such information.0

Another thing that makes me feel uneasy is that they are advertising on micro p site for people to sell 3 dongles.

Which does not fill me with confidence. I am normally so carefull ordering off sites, lesson learnt i think.0 -
Im never buying online again (till next time lol)
Seriously ive been stressed out since I seen this post, ggrrrrr0 -
I am still undecided - if I don't get a reply to my email by midday will give them a call!
I would really love one of these so cheap - have been doing family history research and taking advantage of the £9 Travelodge rooms inn relevant places arou8nd the country. This would be cheaper than their wi fi to be able to get onto the sites we need to in the evenings!0 -
Three were on the news the other day talking offering extremely low prices as a way of increasing market participation in mobile products (it was working lunch)
Makes this more likely to be true0 -
Offer promoted on Pocket-Lint too.
Seems to be legit?
