I dont think there is any doubt you will get a debit on your card for the amount but the risk has to be will you actually get anything and what will happen to your apparently unsecure details afterwards.
This does strike me as to good to be true and am holding fire at the moment.0 -
I too have just phoned my cc company and they said all looks in order and has been charged correctly at £4:95 by Micro P.0

It's not my intention to cause panic - if you have already ordered, sensible advice is to monitor your card statements, notify your bank or credit card company as soon as you notice any anomalies (which may well not happen!) and then have the card canceled and a new one re-sent.
Whilst there are safeguards to prevent unsecured use of personal details (such as using Secure HTTP - https:// and looking for a little padlock in your browser), usually intuition will tell you whether a site seems a bit fishy (and this one, in my humble opinion, does). What goes around - comes around

I'm going to monitor my cc but tbh, if I'd paid by debit card I would be concerned enough (given the Egg call I had) to cancel the card......just in case.Herman - MP for all!0

I am a great fan of 3g mobile broadband, but would only buy the prepaid dongles. I would not want 3 to have my details.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Supposing everything is legit and you did pay by debit card does that mean you still get it even though youve cancelled the debit card0 -

Yes so long at the transaction went through at the time and they didn't just 'reserve' the funds on your account ready for collection later, when it got dispatched. I'm not sure how it would work if they had just reserved the funds and then the card was cancelled tbh.
Better safe than sorry though.Herman - MP for all!0 -
