FREE Pay As You Go broadband dongle

Just got mine through today. It came with some free internet time, not sure how much as I'm saving it for a bit. Not topped up yet as this is more of a backup for my regular connection, or taking it with me when I go away from home.0

Bit bummed about this, I would really like one and although the payment pages states it is secure, I can see no evidence through looking at the code or page properties. FF states the connection isn't encrypted so I'm unclear as to why they bothered to say its secure unless they want to encourage more orders.0

Absolutely, and you can have all the security in the world on your PC and it won't make a bit of difference.
Don't worry though Donnie's on the case with Barclays
Their PCs have firewalls and nothing can get through. Pity firewalls have nothing to do with cryptographic privacy and authentication. Barclays are sending Donnie another 20 Visa cards to keep 'testing'.
All the important parts of the pages were secure for me using IE8.
If people are desperate and don't want to use that site go through Quidco.co.uk where I think it works out at about £18inc delivered after cashback.0 -
Got in to find the package with the dongle in, very happy with it!

I'm using it to type this (no credit) and so far have found it very fast!
The only fault in my opinion is the dongle flashing green which is slightly annoying me.Hi, I've already asked and been granted for permission via PM for a Help for Heroes link. Pfft.
As my previous signature said, I support Help for Heroes0 -
This is a totally CRACKING deal. I have to admit, having ordered mine last wednesday I didnt think it was going to arrive. But it did! Today! How exciting.
The best thing is that the dongle takes a micro-SD card up to 4gb in size... and will therefore double up as USB storage key. Given that you can get a 4gb type two or four micro-SD card for less than 6 to 7 quid on amazon marketplace its a complete steal!
I would also like to confess I have been a bit cheeky and ordered two... because I have two bank cards registered to different addresses.... two dongles for me!0 -
is it possible that they will just charge the card you paid for the dongle with if you use it without buying a voucher.it says if you don't want to top up you will be charged £1 per mb0

does anyone know how you unlock the dongle0

Loads of people doing it on eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120412804177 Like anything along these lines I'd feel more comfortable taking it to a local shop or market.
If you go with eBay read ALL the Feedback and not just the first 3 lines. Also have a look for unlockers and more info by by searching Google UK0 -
