Did anyone book a bank phone call with TNS ? If you have received briefing notes is the scenario totally different than that shown on the original visit search page ?
Thanks for pointing that out. Am now going to have to release job as there's no way I can act out that scenario when they have my bank details in front of them. Can't even say I might be made redundant as I'm a SAHM!
Edit - have just fired off email to AM explaining my reasons for cancelling (is it just co-incidence that they added the automatic feature today??). Lets see what response we all get...Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -

You could tell them you're in financial difficulty because you're a Mystery Shopper and the fees aren't as good at they used to be? If you explain how we are often expected to work for nothing more than a free pizza or a pint of beer, they'll no doubt either a) have sympathy or b) think you're mad.Happy New Year :beer:0 -

I did an "every little helps " job today and the brief had two scenarios. When I selected it the brief said it only had one scenario about phones. The notes say that if I have two scenarios to do both but if I have only one scenario to only do the one I have. HOWEVER, I'm trying to input my results and it's asking me questions about the scenario I didn't do and wasn't in my brief first and there is no way to bypass it. Any suggestions?0

I haven't applied for a bank job, because in real life I work for a bank (not one that's being shopped though). I used to work for one of the other banks that is being shopped though (in a branch not a call centre but probably the same policy). If someone told us they were in financial difficulty, we had to record details of the conversation on the account. This note would stay active for 6 months, and meant that if you applied for any credit during that time, your application would be manually reviewed rather than being automatically credit scored.
You may wish to bear this in mind....
On the other hand - it is a requirement of the banking code that banks deal with financial difficulty in a positive and sympathetic manner - maybe this shop is to test whether they are doing that?
However, I have just canceled the call that I was supposed to make. I'm hoping to be applying for a mortgage at some point this year, and I'm just not willing to jeapodise my chances in any way.0
