Hi hope everyone has sorted the bank phone jobs. I would never had agreed if that was the original scenario.

I have a couple of other questions I hope someone can help with...

    1. When completing a TNS report how long until you can expect payment ?

    2. I have a 'green' supermarket tomorrow (1st big supermarket and a bit scared but will try it!) From experience is it better to pretend to text when noting names/ descriptions as I have to remember 7 names/descriptions. Do you think the staff will get suspicious if I walk around the store and speak to 7 people ? If I dont text and use paper (pretending it is a shopping list) don't you think this may look even more suspicious ?

Any more tips would be greatly appreciated ! Many Thanks.

It's either the 28th of this month or the 28th of next month. I forget the cutoff date but payments are paid on the 28th.

As for texting or using paper, I think you should use whatever you feel more comfortable with. I would move along an aisle or two and then jot the name and info down. On Saturday it will probably be busy so staff may not notice what you're doing so much. Good luck :)

Do you get much work with them? Thanks for your email. I signed up with them and last month they sent me an email about a cinema in my area and I replied the same day but then never heard anything back from them.
I do 2 regular jobs and get some other ad hoc work. I've done the cinemas a couple of times but evening childcare is a problem for me. Like all of them once you get one and give good results you get more work, its just getting a foot in the door thats the trick.
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

have you tried looking for left and right on google street view?

Brilliant idea but sadly Rainham doesn't have it. We're a bit backward here in Kent <sigh>

I've been taking it easy on the MS front for a while (the crashing websites were doing my head in!), but I picked up an RE gym the other day. It's a bit daunting to suddenly see 12 assignments go into my active jobs in one go but the questionnaires don't look too bad. Has everyone else got the fees back ok at the end of the assignments? Seems like a lot of money i've got to shell out so i'm really hoping there aren't any payment probs at the end or issues with cancelling.

I've just had a reply from TNS. The AM didn't realise the jobs had changed so much, but can't talk to 'the office' because they're shut for the weekend. She understands my concerns and has deallocated it for me. Still waiting on the other AM (my two jobs were each under different AMs).

Where was the job? Might have been one I've done - I think we're in the same-ish neck of the woods - might be able to help you ...

Can you not go to https://www.royalmail.co.uk and type in the postcode? (or type in street name and town).

If the place has a number of the street, will be fairly straightforward to work out which shops are either side of it.

Yes I would usually but it's a bit of a weird location -sort of on the side of a shopping centre but on a road but the address is the shopping centre. Good thought though Scotties Mum . Thanks

Or google the location/look on their website's store locator to get the address, then google the adjacent numbers to find the websites of those shops respectively.
