I've applied very recently and everything was done by the next working day, so you shouldn't have to wait too long. I did get an automatic email entitled 'your account' though. Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -

It means that I can't spend the afternoon/evening enjoying the area as I've got to get home and get the report written up in time.
Laptop & dongle may be the answer or the local library or WiFi hotspot? Seems a shame to rush back if you want to stay there. I've done tonnes of work from libraries all over the world! :cool:0 -

I applied not long ago, and it was a few days before I got accepted 3-5 days probably. I applied at the same time to TNS and haven't heard from them yet...
I'm starting to get worried that I've become quite mystery shopping obssessive... I'm constantly checking my email and the various companies for jobs like I'm a junkie or something! I've got 4 jobs this week (which I know it's a lot by some of your standards) but it's the most I've done in a week by a LONG way.
Can see this soon taking over my life....TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

You should get one, mine said this and was titled "Your new account":GFK wrote:This is an automatic email, please do not respond.
Thank you for applying to GfK Mystery Shopping Services Ltd to be a mystery shopper.
Once we have processed your application, we will send you a second email confirming whether or not your application has been successful, and if so, giving you your personal Assessor Number and further instructions to complete your registration.0 -

Right, I had one email with the subject being "Gfk: Your New Account" and then an email afterwards saying my application had been approved. I'll double check when I get home tonight what that first email said and let you know!

If you are successful with TNS they take longer. I had to apply to GFK, TNS and TERN more than once to get registered. got first job with TNS beginning of next month and nothing with TERN as of yetI am the same - I am registered with tons of places checking for jobs all the time

Yeah, I think someone on here (apologies can't remember who it was - may have even been you!) said that the lady that goes through applications had been on holiday as well so there was a backlog. There's a certain client they have that I'm keen to shop for, ha ha!TWBM 2010 Wishlist:
