And now I've just printed off the questionnaire - all 11 pages of it - and there are departments on there that aren't mentioned on the brief!

OMG this is going to be a disaster!

How does everyone else do these jobs?

I did one the other day - never again - simply not worth the fee.

Yes the TNS supermarket jobs paper work is a nightmare but when you come to input it only shows you what is relevant! Not that that helps much but thats why I don't do them as they are a heck of a struggle to get sorted and do its just not worth it!

Yes, you will have to carry a piece of paper with a long list discreetly (make it look like a shopping list) - there are loads of names, descriptions and other things to observe and record. I've done them a couple of times and yes, it is a lot of work!

I did one the other day and also vowed never again...until next time:o

I would recommend writing down a list of the departments and keep referring to it and ticking them off as you go round so that it just looks like a shopping list. You can also make some notes whilst checking the toilets or you can try something on in the changing rooms to make notes.

Mine was easier than it should have been as two of the departments were closed and two didn't have any staff.

These are poorly paid considering the amount there is to do compared to the 'fast' versions of the same supermarkets.

My problem with the big blue supermarkets is the cafe. You get £1 reimbursement which used to be fine when they were their own cafes, could easily get a drink (maybe even pack of bics!). Now they are all expensive coffee shops you can't get anything for £1 or even near.
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

I have a query with Gyp bookmakers. This time, you have to complete a section BEFORE you do the evaluation. How do I get past the first page which is time in and time out if I haven't done the evaluation

I've not had the email from TNS TG, but I've now only got 3 of the jobs on my account, one for each bank that I'm with.

Thinking of cancelling them as they've not had the courtesy to let me know, but I'll wait and read the questionnaire first and see how complicated it is. If it's anything like the supermarket ones, I'll deffo be cancelling!

They've not had the courtesy to let you know?! I wouldn't have thought they owe you any courtesy at all bearing in mind you failed to follow the instructions - I'd suggest you're lucky to have kept the three they left you with. You've created more work for them because somebody has had to go round checking accounts and has had to delete them for you - then you expect them to spend more time emailing you too?

    Sorry... but ARGH!

I can see the questionnaire but how do I enter the results if I haven't been? I have to state left and right etc
