....by the same people who would do a credit check job for no fee?0
-
Really? Surely thats a waste of time, if someone could do it they would sign up for it?
They've sent 3 emails out for it already and still no one has taken it.
Do they ever increase the fee to get a job covered?
Some companies do-I had one a couple of months ago -presumably a late cancelation as I hadn't seen it on the job board that paid three times the normal rate. It was a little out of my area but as the fee was high and I wanted to try and get more jobs with this particular company (stratagy didn't work though-my applications remain pending and then fall off still) I accepted it when they phoned.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Right I am dealing now with RE. Firsly I phoned and told them the website is down again. They disoute this and say it IS working. So can some of you try and log in and post what you get.
Coincidentally I went to a RE chemist and the girl was giggling about MS'ers, I said "Whats a MS'er??? She said we know who they are as they ask for hay fever tablets and advice on weight reduction. She has several friends who work for this shemist and 1 shopper was thin as a rake so it looked odd her asking for weight reduction. She joked they might as well have I am mystery shopper tatooed on the forehead.
So the account holder of this job is going to phone me back to discuss this. As I tolf RE about this and pointed out how stupid the scenario is and are they happy we are identified by the obvious scenario.
I would welcome any input on this, Maybe they will say we should go in with padding and wear 6 coats to look fat.
Her response was that if I was not happy with the scenario, then I should not take the job. I would happily have done it, despite only wanting to lose a few pounds and being safely in the "normal" weight range for my height. I think the client wants the pharmacist to tell of the side-effects (which can be nasty), but of course if the pills aren't suitable in the first place, they shouldn't even get that far!
Oh, and having to buy the "drowsy" hayfever tablets is another give-away
In the end, I didn't get the job because someone else had taken it first.
My suggestion would be that the scenario says to ask for advice on something that is actually relevant to the shopper, or that if they want the fat-fighting drug to be discussed that we could suggest it is for a relative considering taking it? Alternatively, make the jobs only available if you have a prescription to fill, so you have to spend time in the chemist's anyway, which means random questions won't seem quite so strange?0 -
Hello and welcome :j
Have you thought about signing up with the other MS companies? (Listed on first page)
I have never signed up to RE for the reason you stated - unreliable website
Try Gap, or GrassRoots - I use these two all the time and never have any issues :rotfl:
I am with 4 other companies including the two you mentioned and am considering others. I hve been an MS'r for over two years and it is only in the past month or so that Retaileyes website has got really bad. They are generally Ok in terms of customer service I find. It is just the technical issues they seem to have trouble with.0 -

Anyhow ... TNS ... I'm doing my first "big" supermarket shop for them tomorrow. I've only even done small supermarkets for them.
Just looking at the paperwork, oh my goodness, there are so many departments I have to visit and ask questions. Do I have to make a note of the persons name and description in every department? There are about 20 different areas I need to visit! We’ve had to remove your signature. And now I've just printed off the questionnaire - all 11 pages of it - and there are departments on there that aren't mentioned on the brief!
OMG this is going to be a disaster!

I went into a fast food store to order and when i asked for the receipt (not usually given here) The manager pointed me to the sauce section, the toilets were ordered a clean, and an assistant offered to take my tray, IN THIS SHOP......my daughter uses it often and could not stop laughing, I found it REALLY embarrasing when the manager bid me farewell at the door....Gonna ask for a receipt more often.0
