Assuming you have pasta in I would turn all the veggies into a pasta bake and top with crumbled cheshire cheese. Alternatively, the brocolli and stilton would make a nice soup, and eggs that need using up in this house usually end up being hard boiled for sandwiches or used as a good excuse to make muffins.
There's a leftovers thread on the OS board - which also incorporates the "don't throw food away" challenge. Might be useful for you? (That reminds me - I'd best pop over there as I have a half pot of yogurt to confess to having to throw out......:o)🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

OOh confessions....I love it. Yes we always have pasta, and I am definitely onto the brocclli stilton soup, it is the only way I can eat stilton and it is yummy. Think I will freeze couple of portions for my weekday lunches. Corned beef hash?
Do you have rice? If so, some sort of pilaff or risotto?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
also have piece of steak (was going to keep that for OH at weekend, but decided he doesnt deserve it as it was his mistake with his expences forms that cost us bank charges) so that will be for a stir fry.
2 sausage rolls (lunch is going to be interesting this week)
pack of ham and piece of quiche.
Actually I am thinking of freezing most of these and making a "bitza" lunch for us all on saturday. every one likes a "bitza" in this house.
DD doesnt like corned beef hash, but OH and DS do, so two smaller ones coming up to be frozen.

My OH doesn't like corned beef hash, but me and the children love it, so we save it for a treat when he is working lateSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Corned beef hash is great and i like to make a massive pan then the rest can go in a pie..two meals for the price of one. Shame it doesn't fit into Slimming world diet, well it probably does, but when i eat it can't stop..mmmmmmBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi folks!
Had my broccolli and stilton soup for lunch. Made a nice change but was a bit strong! I need to pop over to the OS board, my kids are getting bored with the meal plan and packed lunches. Both left cottage pie tonight, and they used to love it. I think a two-weekly plan would be best rather than weekly. I n oticed that MOVE TO PORTUGAL has a summer menu on her blog site. Not a bad idea really.
Almost a NSD today, bought a can of pop and bag of crisps from the vending machine at work (moment of stress i am afraid) £1.05, but found 25p on the floor of the car. so only 85p down!
Off work on Thursday as I have been working all weekend, so i am determined to shave some off my DD's. Going to get renewal quotes for insurances and do a new SOA on excellent advice of EssexHebredian.
