Fed up with current o2 18 month contract

well unlimited texts is a must have for me so i would add the unlimited texts bolt on, it means i will be spending an extra £7.50 a month with them for what my boyfriend gets for £35 but i wouldnt begrudge paying this should an iphone be in the picture. I will give them a ring and see what they offer, but im going to complain excessively about the customer service recieved over my u900 in the hope it will get me somewhere. I just thought maybe if i was going to be spending more, plus the fact theyd have me tied to a 24 month contract they might turn a blind eye or discount my cancellation fee0

Doubt it very much to be honest, the returns dept is an outsourced one so o2 take on the view almost that it is 'nothing to do with them' as such, for the delay it took in getting your phone back. If you were without your phone for 4 weeks, then I would expect they would credit you with one months line rental max to be honest.

they offered me nothing, not even an apology - but i havnt really asked for anything yet. I might aswel give them a ring, after all you dont ask you dont get, but i know now that my chances are slim, i just hope they can sort something for me because the issue still is that as a result of their service i still have a phone that isnt functioning properly0

Depending on how many times your phone has been returned you could ask for a replacement handset from a different manufacturer..

only the once, but this one is again broken, and i do not want to go through another experience of them telling me my phone is cracked when it blatantly isnt, delaying work, losing the thing and then giving me a 'new' one which breaks almost instantly0

yes they do allow bolt ons, it says something like 'Create your perfect iPhone 3G experience by adding bolt ons..'0

my o2 contract runs til december and i have one with orange which i got 2 months ago... since then iv been cutting my tarriff down monthly and am now down to 25 quid a month... gonna phone up tomorrow and cut it down to 20 quid a month which is the lowest one... so yeah effectively you can start cutting it down now, but only once per month!2009 Wins : 0

hmmm if they say no to me, i could take out the iphone contract aswel, and pay £70 odd for 3 months while i whittle the other one down to £20, then throw them 4*£20 =£80 to shut them up about my existing contract?...am i correct0
