I cant remember how old the children are - are they at school - who was going to look after them while he was working if he wasnt taking time off?
sorry angel I am not meaning to upset you with these questions. I know he is helping you by looking after the children and he is their father but he should also be taking your wishes into consideration. And you shouldnt be trying so hard to accomodate him IMHO - he is the one who left.
forgive me if I am speaking out of turn
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

sorry Dusty I didn't mean to make you cry.
I know that DH would be ok if I found someone else (don't even know if he would care).
I know that it is easier for him to find some one else but I think it shows something when it is only a week after he leaves he 'finds' someone. Now he just so happens to be living near her  I suppose I should think that I am better of without him.
Just don't know if I should let them stay at DH girlfriend house (oh seems odd writing that)think that I am a little upset as both my mum and sister were to busy to talk.
Mind I wouldn't want to swap my two children for a man anyway. Would much rather have them here with me because, even if I do say so myself, my kids give the best hugs in the whole world. When I ask DD how much mummy loves here she says 'bigger much' and puts her arms out as wide as she can.January Grocery 11/3740 -

toots . No need to apologise. You really do help (as always)
Well he has got to take Friday and Monday off (although he did forget that DS would be at school on Monday)
DS is 5 and DD is 3
I think the problem is that I don't know how I feel. I am glad that he told me, but of course if the children were staying in her house he would have to have told me as DS would have told me
I would mention o DH that he just says she is a friend. Don't think that DS would understand about girlfriends yet and I did tell him that he can't sleep in her room while they are there.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Just wanted to pop on and let you all know i had a beautiful baby boy on wednesday morning at 5.38am, he was 7lb and we've named him Rhys Edward.:j:j:j:j
Congratulations Vanilla, best wishes to you all....
Triker, thanks for the update on Pigpen, all the best to you pigpen, hope the back improves soon - nothing worse than not being able to do something because you're unable to move... hugs to you... even if you don't do them... :A Oh, and well done on the assignments - how long do you have left of this course now? must be finished soon eh? Uni next year... :T:T
Quillion, sounds like you've had a bit of a bad time too, sorry I don't know what happened, but all the best to you too, hope things improve soon... :A
Soappie - How's plan B going and how are your eyes now? hope it was nothing serious...
Toots, sorry you are feeling down, but glad your little 'hugs in the post' are still arriving and cheering you up - hope you feel better soon... :A oh and thanks for all your emails - they always cheer me up (loved the one about the iranian airspace... :rotfl:)
Thanks for the energy saving tips Greenbee - I've sent the link to it to my Mum and Sister too...all things we should do, and I will be chasing up my lovely DS to keep on top of...
MOJ2 - Huge hugs honey - I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to pop round to see you - I will put that right soon I promise. On the staying over bit - have you thought about letting him stay at your home on those days? (obviously no 'ladies' allowed
) or do they have to go to his place? (3 hours away - where has he gone now?)... Hope you come up with a good solution that won't upset the children (or you!) too much.
Your two children are amazing and beautiful and your DD's smile could melt an iceberg so I can believe you're glad you still have them rather than him - you will find someone who appreciates all of you in due time and you will be better of for it... hugs honey... :A
Flying wise - I have decluttered my emails and a bacon sandwich and little else... I need to start on the spare room now (well after dinner that hubby has cooked...) see you all later...

Finally got the kitchen list done and the living-room list done, and I'm too tired to even go and look at which days they were on, so can I just beg for the stars and quietly toddle off to the nearest soft horizontal surface please?
Two stars please...ta...g'night...0
