HELLO ALL. WELL DH HAS HAD THE KIDS TODAY AND I HAVE MANAGED TO move the tumble upstairs. Although I have now realised that there is no plug socket where I want to put it :(. Also sorted some of the kitchen cupboards out

Dh has told me he has found a girl friend (about a week after he left)surprise! surprise!.

He is having the children for 4 days while I am away and has mentioned about staying round her house for 1/2 nights with the children. I don't know how I am/should be feeling. They can't stay in his house as he shares with 3 other blokes.

Always feel lost when he goes :(

Hugs mumofjust2 you are not 'lost' - you are just finding it difficult to find your way forward but you are making great progress - look what you have done already without him. be very proud of yourself for having coped so well.
If you dont like the thought of the children staying at girlfriend's house then could he stay at your house with the children - but make it clear she is not welcome?

Oh Mumofjusttwo your post made me cry. I feel so sorry for you, the sadness comes over in your post. You will in time find things easier, I know you will xxx
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

Sorry been MIA due to helping with another NCT sale last night and today - manically busy but have sold some things and more importantly some big things so have a bit more space now.

Car just about back to a car rather than delivery truck, and once finished this drink will sort out unsold stuff and put it away, then best dig out my list and get on.

    HHC anyone?

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Princess Jane - the offer of the plug in meter is there if you want it, just PM me your address. Have a look at this thread for ideas about how much other people are using.

MoJ2 - (((hugs))) that's tough for you. Try to be objective and talk to him about what's practical, and how the children might feel about meeting a girlfriend at this stage. The thread Jo linked to yesterday, and some of the other's on the marriages/relationships board have some useful discussions on this. I haven't been through this either as an adult or a child, so don't feel qualified to comment, but it's something you both (but primarily your ex) need to consider.

I'm cold and tired. This weaher is really beginning to get on my nerves - I'm finding it incredibly draining and I'm not getting anything constructive done.
