    Afternoon all
I have been keeping up with the thread, but not sure I can remember everyone who needs a hug.
So I am sending a batch out into the ether and please grab one as it floats past.

Plus an extra one for pigpen and one for toots (glad I am not the only one who gets days muddled up)

Had to go into town to collect a prescription so asked about my cold and I now have tablets to unblock my sinuses and Benlyn for my cough.
I stopped myself from saying 'Oh that's what the Flyladies were talking about' :rotfl: but I did think 'that's what my friends recommended'
Had to have a sit down when I got home, but I really need to shift myself before the whole day disappears.

Hello everyone, sorry not caught up with the thread, have been reading the one that Jo and Nicki were reading! I'm hooked!

Haven't done anything much today, woke up really tired after a bad night of nightmares and heartburn (probably brought on by eating too much yummy pudding last night!). We had a great evening at my friend's house last night, her and her hubby are Indian so she cooked curry which was really nice, and she loves baking so she had made two types of pudding (not Indian, chocolate tart, and kinda Viennese whirls with real cream in) which were delicious. The girls all tried on her saris, and then we all played a word game which I keep forgetting the name of. It was really fun, just what I needed!

Tim is out and doing some shopping, he's found some lamb on special offer at Mr T, so we are having a roast tonight.

I will hoover the kitchen today (he turned the hoover on last night and it worked straight away, so why it didn't work for me I know not), and clean the bathroom.

Hope everyone's having a great weekend, hugs to all especially Toots xx

Been to the tip... so that's my excitement for the day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It's depressing that only 56% is recycled despite the new well-laid out site with plenty of signs and staff to help. Looking in the general waste though, it's clear that the low level of recycling is due to laziness - if people separated things out there would be a lot more to recycle.

Mind you, the site I go to is in the next county - Berkshire's recycling is significantly better than hampshire's!

Lil-me - we have garden waste recycling, but it's an opt-in, and done on alternate saturdays. I did it for a couple of years, but got fed up with them leaving the bags to blow away down the road, so now I use them to transport the stuff to the tip instead. TBH, our recycling is pretty unimpressive...

Jo - I've been out in the garden and found 4 solar lights. I won't get them in the post today, but will aim to have them packed up and ready to post for Wednesday!

Sure I've already done the bedroom this week, but it needs doing again as cat hairs and dust bunnies abound.

Two loads of washing in and on line.

Work at 6pm so pottering until then.

A friend who I've had a bit of a barney with has just texted me saying we need to talk. We bumped into each other last night at a leaving do. I thought he didn't care we weren't friends but I've just been told he walked home three miles in the dark as he was so upset.

Don't know what to do and feel a bit bleurgh.

And just got a £230 dual fuel bill for the quarter, despite paying £100 a month, so we are ditching and switching again - sigh.

Oh, big GRRRR someone has allowed their dog to poo on my front lawn, GRRRR!! As a considerate dog owner who wouldn't dream of not cleaning up after my dog, it's peed me off sooooo much! I can even guess who it was but can't prove it.
    Put it on their lawn.

Can't remember who told me this, but they had a relative that lived in a close, and a woman used to come everyday and walk her dog down there. One day the relative was outside his house and had a chair out there with him. The dog came and peed on the leg of the chair! The relative was so furious he said that if the lady ever came back into the close again he would find some dog poo and post it through her letter box (he knew where she lived). Anyway, she didn't believe him and walked her dog there again, and he did it! He got a spade, found some of her dog's poo in the close and posted it through the letter box! She never returned!
