Caught up a bit on the last few pages of the thread now so feel like I'm a little more up to date with everyone!

Feel bad as I've had a busy few days and not had chance to respond to people as I would have liked. Sorry guys. Not really got chance now either as I've got about a 10 minute window to get tea on while DD2 is occupied with In the Night Garden.

Going to get a bit done in the kitchen while I cook tea...I already swept and mopped the kitchen and hall so at least the floor looks better.

Had a lovely present off my friends today (its my birthday today) they have booked me a decleor facial at Selfridges at the Trafford Centre for Friday evening then we're going for something to eat afterwards so I'm really looking forward to that. Will be nice to have a relax after all the training I'm doing for the 10K.

On with tea...having asda whoopsied pizza with HM potato wedges and salad. Then I'm unfortunately working tonight.

    See you later. x

ETA: Hope you've gone on OK at the docs today Mumoffour.

    Happy Birthday Sunnygirl!

Hugs to Emily - I agree with what other people have said - you are a good friend, and I expect that your friend's hormones are all over the place at the moment, and she's feeling alone after her OH was sentenced and is taking it out on the person nearest to her. I hope things work out with your DH - it's good that he was worried about you being cold, as it shows that he still cares about you.

Flyingwise, I've hung out a load of washing on the line, but that's about it, although I did do the oven and hob yesterday, so that can be crossed off.

I'm off to the gym again in a minute to go to body combat again - my muscles are aching today, but I'm going to push through it just like they do on the biggest loser - I like that progamme too rosepink.

May see you all this evening if I have any energy left - working all day tomorrow.

Pigpen the title of today's list made me chuckle when I saw it, as I had a particularly badly behaved class of Year 1s this morning, including a boy who got out his willy when he was sitting on the carpet - luckily (or unluckily depending on how you look at it) one of the other boys alerted me to it, and he was told to put it away, before being taken out by the TA for a talk. It's been reported to the deputy head.

Right, better get going as I forgot to get some rehydrating drinks when I was in Mr S earlier, so need to pop to the supermarket on my way to the gym - it's cheaper to buy them in multipacks than pay £1.50 a go at the gym.

    sexymouse xx

What EXACTLY do you think you're playing at Madam?:mad:

It wouldn't hurt your mattress not to be turned every week and there is no way you should be doing that unaided in your current condition. If you haven't done it by the time you get back here then DON'T. If you have, make sure you sit down and REST with a hot water bottle and a cup of tea until you're sure you haven't done yourself any damage.

    Bad, bad toots...

sexymouse - cheaper solution for the gym is to drink water during exercise and eat a banana either just before or just after the class. The isotonic drinks are ... not necessarily good value...

HSflowers.gif Bunch of HSbirthday11.gifflowers for you. Happy birthday Sunnygirl, have a good day today and on Friday!

On a different note I am cream crackered today and am going to bed with a hot chocolate in a bit with a book and forgetting about the flying in the kitchen today. It can wait for another day.

Emily, don't be too hard on yourself. It sounds like it was one of those things with your friend. Hope you wake up feeling better tomorrow, take care my dear

Toots enjoy your pressies, they sound lovely. I received a surprise present today which touched my heart at how kind some people are in this world.

This may sound a little odd, but I've just gone to cook my dinner. I had a clean saucepan and a clean frying pan and clean tongs to cook with. Then I needed the colander which is clean. I have a clean plate, clean knife and clean fork. Even my tray is clean.

I didn't have to wash up one thing in order to make dinner, or wash up just to make room to cook! Thanks flylady Pigpen, Toots and everyone for encouraging me!
Now off out to face the mayhem, DH has just phoned to warn me of major road closures on the road I need to go on. I bet the detour will be chocka too as a result. Ho hum!

Toots, listen to Greenbee. You are silly to turn your mattress, I was quite alarmed when I read you were about to do it. PUT IT DOWN AND STEP AWAY FROM THE MATTRESS. Go and sit down, before we chain you to the sofa!
