My voluntary job manager has been in touch. They are starting a new project at the hospital where I do my meeting and greeting. She has asked if I would be interested in sitting with patients who are very ill and listening and talking to them. I am interested and the training starts next week. Just need to see my other boss when I go in tonight and sort shifts.
Top news Boddy - hope your other boss sorts out shifts for you. That's something really worthwhile and that you'll be able to do a bit more when you retireSoappie I think you deserve some you time with your friend Gordan.
I think I do too, and have just poured one.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thanks embb, it is brilliant because when she started her lessons in October, she didn't even like getting her face wet, she has come on leaps and bounds(literally, cause she loves jumping in too!!!)0 -
Have been reading all the nice messages & just wanted to post again to say thanks :A You've made me feel like I'm not over-reacting about my friend. I still don't know where I stand with DH; we've been talking a little but he's still making his decision, although he did calm me down when I got back here last night after arguing with my friend. I've just been trying to give him some space0
