I used to have those... I agree its worth the pain, but it can be difficult to find someone good. I haven't managed to find anyone I trust to get it right for a couple of years now! Good luck... make sure you have all your soothing lotions and potions to hand afterwards. And do make sure MIL knows what you're up to0 -
Wel ldone Hollyh, hope DS 2 is better by morning
Soappie, did you find the remote?
Ironing done(HH worth!!), dishes done, dog in..........0 -
Had a nice meal with my brother in a pub in a lovely little village between his work and here... gave him his (overdue!) birthday presents...
... looks like I've got a taker on freecycle for the kitchen unit that's been cluttering up my garage for the last few months. Let's hope I get some takers for the other bits of junk (I suppose I should have asked you lot if you could use any of it... so... I have ... shower hose, shower head, round black dish drainer, 3 outdoor bulkhead lights and about a million plastic plant pots) as it would be nice to get rid of them.
I'm just trying to summon up the energy to have a bath. If it wasn't so quiet on here I'd have an excuse not to have an early nightbut I really don't feel like flying or doing job applications, so bed seems the sensible option.

Another star please Toots :j
Managed to finish the kitchen. Didn't do the fridge but was still clean after being degunged last week so washed the tiles down instead.
Someone said earlier in the thread that the jobs get easier and that's certainly true in the case of my kitchen - it really didn't need hard work to get it clean this week although I've needed alot of elbow grease previously and cleaned things I had hardly touched in the past.
Thanks everyone on here because even just reading what you do helps and encourages me. I just wish I had more time to participate in the thread - you sound such a friendly bunch.Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

There are often more murdered people than Mrs Barnaby lines, DH says 48!
Nope - it's not Bergerking, it's Midsomer (Barnaby is the detective formerly known as Bergerking) and I've found it! And I agree about the sweepstake - still nice stuff to watch - bounces off the eyeballs and in and out of one ear nicelyI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
