He HAS been reading your posts hasn't he
I think he has, as his "apology" yesterday was more of a quip really to let me know he's keeping an eye on what I post rather than feeling guilty about messing up!
As for tea, he bought smoked fish yesterday so I suggested kedgeree for tea which he always makes and does a fab job as I'm useless at it.
Didnt get very far with reading posts as my shoulders ache and I'm off for my bath.
so apologies to everyone for not reading and hugs where needed especially emily as I read your post when I was at work.

evening all
had hoped to get on earlier tonight but it has been an, erm, eventful evening! girls' brigade (which i sometimes help at) tonight. As I was packing up my section I was called into another room by MiL who runs it all. One of the helpers had passed out/fainted, bashed her head on the table and took a while to properly come round. I happen to be first aid trained through work so ended up dealing with it all, with MiL's help. Poor woman's 10 year old was there, she came in and found her mum, so was rather upset. Ended up with me driving her car home with her in it and we stayed a while and persuaded her DH to take her to A&E just to be sure as she had pain in her head. So I got home about 30 mins ago after we'd packed up the gb stuff! Poor woman, was rather scarey.
So no flying tonight except wm is on, just eaten some dinner and chiling now til DH finishes his study in a bit.
And, I have some news that toots esp will like. I have heard off the record that I have an interview for the job I went for. They are interviewing 8 so I can't count my chickens, but good to know. Hoping I'll get a call from them tomorrow as the interview is meant to be the week after next and i'm away next week!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hi all, just a quickie as off to watch the Apprentice on sky + in a mo.
Just sorted and binned a huge box of paperwork. All personal info burnt in fireplace. Box bined an all.:D
Also another box file completely binned, all contents gone, tons of recipes that I've collected and never looked at or used. Along the the multiple millions of cookery books but I'll start decluttering them another day.;)
DW x 1
Washing folded and put away.
Managed to, finally, get some long outstanding stuff done at work today, not completed nearly enough but its a start. My procrastination is really not acceptable any more. I'm kicking myself up the bum.;)
DD1 in tears again this morning, bad headache so painkillers administered and sent back to bed. She went into school this afternoon though.
It's been tears every day for 2 weeks, hard going on all of us but obviously mainly her. Just supporting and trying to keep going really. I have to say though its been tough. Rang school they were fine.
Exams, pressure, pressure, pressure, argh
Right off I go may be back later if I get the chance, toodles for now folks and I'll catch up when I can. xxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Pigpen the title of today's list made me chuckle when I saw it, as I had a particularly badly behaved class of Year 1s this morning, including a boy who got out his willy when he was sitting on the carpet - luckily (or unluckily depending on how you look at it) one of the other boys alerted me to it, and he was told to put it away, before being taken out by the TA for a talk. It's been reported to the deputy head.sexymouse xx
oops sorry Miss greenbee -toots goes and stands in the naughty corner.......... but if I dont do it who will??who changes and makes your bed? actually turning the mattress is much easier than making the bed for me!
MOF77 Its good that the doctor is getting things moving -it will get acted upon quicker if its marked urgent so dont be stressing and reading too much into it yet if you can - enjoy the relaxation with your Gran. (((hugs)))
Boddy that will be a so nice for the patients but could be difficult at times for you. I think you will be very good at it.
hex ooooooooooh yankee tarts - thats it I will have to go get some now - I was resisting well too since I finished my last one:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

embb thats brilliant news about the windows. what a difference that will make for you, - you are fairly getting things sorted out ,WTG:T
well done with the ironing DeniseNZ :T:T:T
Mudbath thats great news on both counts but especially the hospice as I know how much you enjoy it and I can guess how much the patients do too. Nice to hear you are building up your own client list too.
well done Kazm :T:T:T
oh bother I thought I might have sneaked in and out again while greenbee was out:rolleyes:
rach oh how scary for her daughter and well done to you for coping so well and FANTASTIC news - well i will try not to get too excited ...counting chickens and all that ...:T:T:T:T:T
Triker well done with the boxes and getting going at work - thats excellent - and huge hugs for DD.

Do we need to get a Flylady collection together to buy you a pair of sunglasses to shield your eyes from all that gleaming?
Hope the traffic's not too bad
Yes please, would love the sunglasses! It's dazzling out there!
The traffic was a complete nightmare. The main road from here into Guildford was shut both ways due to a crash (hope nobody was hurt) so everybody had detoured onto the nearest road into Guildford, and it was rush hour, so it took me double the amount of time it would normally have taken. It was worse for everybody trying to get out of Guildford, I felt sorry for them.
It took me over an hour to get there and 20 mins to get home! Went past the crash site, but the only clue that anything had happened was a blue surgical glove on the pavement! Hopefully everything is ok.
Anyway, had a lovely time with my friend. I was helping her to understand part of the sermon on the mount and we really enjoyed ourselves. So it was a good evening once I got there!
Going to be resting tomorrow but plan to hoover through the whole place. And try to finish off the two lists I'm closest on finishing!
Night night everyone xx"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
