Hope you get your eyes sorted soon soappie...my son has the single dose false tears every two hours so we find the bloomin things EVERYWHERE!!! We've bought them over the counter when i've forgotten to get the repeat prescription in. One thing my son has learnt....when they're sore just close your eyes and count to ten, that alleviates it. Also, he was told to fill the sink with cold water and dip his head in and open his eyes. I couldn't believe they said he could do that but it worked!!

Flying: i've just decluttered the dogs bowel by walking her (sorry if you're eating but I'd done nothing else!!) xx

Soappie - hope your eyes gets better soon
Greenbee - it is really cold here, I've had 4 layers on for most of the day, just made DS3's hottie
Serena - we have found a place to stay in France in the summer 30k south of Bergerac - just need to check it is still available, have you been to that area. Well done on your lottie have you had it for the full 15 years?

Actually, that's probably the most important flying thing you can do - saves them saving it up and dumping it somewhere inappropriate :rotfl:

Just decluttering a medicinal glass of white wine...

He's up and down. He now has double vision again but thinks it's to do with inflammation of the muscles of the eye. He's decided to sell his car too which must be a big decision for him. He's enjoyed his tapes this weekend and is looking forward to getting some more from audible (thanks to everyone who recommended that site). He also loves poetry so he's been telling me about some of the poets he likes and we've both been enjoying that so there's lots of good things happening.

Flying.....one washing load on in my easy to get into (i.e. no hubbies carp in there!!) utility room.

Hope you're feeling fab again soon tootles xx

    Evening all!

Well I've just showered and washed my hair, packed up my lunchbox for tomorrow just in case, and am heading to bed shortly to read my magazine that greenbee sent me (thanks again for doing that - there have been some really interesting things in them). Ghost Whisperer is on at 9pm so can watch that in bed after I've dried my hair.

See you all in the morning if I'm not called out to work.

    sexymouse xx

My eyes are dreadful this evening. Both of them are now itching and weepy and gunky (but 'clear' gunk, not green gunk!). I'm wondering if it's a sort of hayfever. The left eye started to play up Saturday evening after I'd been out in the garden photographing a plant for my OU course. It had just about settled down this morning. This afternoon, I went out and took more photos of said plant because of comments on the focus (it's OK, we're supposed to positively critique each others work!).

I took loads because I wanted to get a better focus and I was using a manual focus macro lens which, being myopic, is a tad challenging!. This evening both eyes are kicking up big time. Itchy, weepy, the lot. I'm not sneezing though. I look like I've been crying all day but I haven't! One of the blokes at work has some artificial tears eye drop thingies he's using up after laser eye surgery so I may see if I can borrow a couple of vials from him....

Hmmm, if it isn't better tomorrow then I would try to visit your doctor or an optician. It could be viral conjunctivitus which is less gunky then bacterial conjunctivitus. It is best to get diagnosed rather than waste your money on eye drops that won't work-you'll need antihistamines for hayfever, and if it's viral conjunctivitus then there is nothing for it but to wait it out.. Of course, if it is common o'garden bacterial conjunctivitus then you can gt the over the counter 'infected eyes' optrex, but then some pharmacists can be funny about giving them out without the say of a doctor or optician... Or you could just be allergic to that particular plant...

Ok, long story short- get it checked by a doctor or an optician I reckon :D
