    Welcome Mammamia2 and Primula

Hugs Natty re George Gently, hope it didn’t upset you and Hugs Igiveup

Lil_me, I didn’t really understand about your MIL. Where has she been? Is she coming to visit, but using most of her visiting time to go to Africa?

Sorry to hear your eyes are so bad now Soappie. I also know what it’s like to work somewhere horrible so hope it goes quick

Hope you feel better soon Abbie

Liuhut, you should still ask for an HHC, even if it is the middle of the night here. Maybe DeniseNZ will want to do one with you!

Sexy, hope your bruises are better soon

Doelani, hope your pain goes away soon

Grateful, nice to hear that DD read her poem so nicely at your parents ruby anniversary party, that’s so sweet! What poem did she read?

Lizzyshep, I really like the Kinks too, I like You Really Got Me, that’s a good one to clean to! You’ve done loads, well done!

Nicki, what does ‘FOH’ mean? Hope you feel better soon xx

Princess Jane, I really don’t know how you put up with your MIL. She sounds like the rudest person on earth. As if Muffingate wasn’t bad enough, how dare she wear your perfume! What a blinkin cheek! I feel quite outraged on your behalf! What did she say when you asked her? Bet she wasn’t even ashamed

Quillion, I hope your stay in hospital goes well. Please keep posting, even if you are not able to fly. May we ask why you will be in hospital? Don’t say if you’d rather not

Valli and Justamum, that’s how I used to turn Mum’s compost heaps, lift the bin off and then shovel the contents back in, usually into the one next to it, and then put the empty one back where it was before. Mum’s are plastic and look like daleks! They are like the ones in the picture, Valli

Rach, have a lovely time on holiday, you will be fine flying. I know what you mean, you start relying on your DH don’t you, I know I do! But you will be fine. And I hope you get the job interview.

Igiveup, well done on getting a star!

Kaz, what has the man done?

Egon I’m really sorry to hear that the last two weeks have been so bad, am thinking of you xx

Well done Broomstick on what you have acheived

Am off to get a drink and watch Ashes to Ashes.

Going to do lots of flying tomorrow morning, DH will be out at work so can get lots done!

    Night night everyone

    Hi Ladies and Gents,

After the 2 most horrific weeks of this year, I am back but will take it slowly.

My uncle died of heart attack 2 weeks ago, my nan collapsed (she was lucky she stayed with my parents and that my brother found her in the middle of the night) last week and I just had to say goodbye to my DH today, as he is deployed for 6 weeks to Iraq.

ooops so it is froddy well in my defence I didnt have my glasses on!!!:rotfl:
gingernut thats great that your wife is seeing the difference and you are noticing it too - it takes time but you will get things under control. Can I be nosey - my memory isnt recalling - are you a stay at home Dad/ house husband - or between jobs? dont answer if you dont want to. I like your idea of the months jobs.
egon massive hugs honey - you will be so missing DH and on top of everything else that has happened - but you can do this - you have to focus on Dh coming back and what you want to do before then - get that BIG list written and start attacking it. Safe deployment vibes for Dh and get well soon for Nan - condolences to the family for your loss. Level 1 is a good place to start - keep busy and the time will pass.
DDB I think you will have to find a special treat to get round woofy!!! Maybe she will be that pleased to be home that she will let you off.......hhmmmm....maybe not...perhaps by the time the anasthetic has worn off you will be out of the dog-house :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

    Ironing all done

Egon - hugest hugs in the world for you and hoping life improves. Your poor Nan, was your uncle her son?

DS3 hayfever really bad this evening. Mum is also suffering from an allergy, whenever she goes out into open spaces with trees etc all exposed parts of her come up in an itchy hivey red rash within a very short space of time (15 minutes today) when she comes inside it subsides in about the same time.

Greenbee - thanks for the France info - do you go by channel tunnel and if so how long is the journey the other side?

egon - massive hugs for a horrible 2 weeks.

    and for you too Jo

rosepink - it just stemmed from me asking if he was ok as he's still up an down over the work thing and then ended up with us both over reacting, him chucking things and me storming out telling him I wont give a to55 then.

Needless to say I still havent got anything else done. DD is in bed now and I still have to iron but that means going down stairs and possibly having to speak to it :D

Right I am going to sign off now and get the ironing done as if I stay here it'll still need doing come Friday.

Hugs to all those who need them and apologies for not replying personally.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Today...

Bathroom - sink, bath, loo, floor, window, cabinet and yucky splodges of stuff.
Kitchen - cook off mince for lasagne, dishes, worktops, hob
Loads of WM and TD, put stuff away!

DH got the snippy snip so been taking care of him too. Also studying all night.

    Tomorrow...

Kids to school, me to college
    Make lasagne for dinner
    Clean kitchen afterwards
    HHI
    Hoover living room

It's got to the point of just keeping the house tidyish for now.

    toots xx

Hi Toots.... quite happy to answer. I am a foster carer and therefore spend most of my time at home now. I don't have the equipment though to be refered to as a house husband ;).
